During my time in UTM only got kolej 1 to kolej 6, now already got kolej 10.....your video bring out all my memories in utm....

Sister, do Master’s students also live in the same hostel? I'm planning to study Master’s in software engineering Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, do you have any idea which hostel is near to this faculty and how much it is single room there?

It’s quite hard for postgrad students to get a placement for hostel. From what I know KK10 is the only hostel open for postgrad to apply. You can try applying for other hostels but I’m not sure if it’s workable since I was not staying inside the campus during my master study.

Hi I’m so sorry for making a confusing mistake. I thought you were talking about UM hostel and I didn’t realize it’s about UTM. For UTM, it’s much easier to get a placement.

@janebujo @janebujo I'm talking about UTM hostel for master's which hostel is near Razak Faculty of Technology and Informatics, and how much is the single room fees per month?

But I’m not really sure about where do the students in UTMKL (where Razak Faculty of Tech and Informatics located at) stay at since I was studying my degree at UTM Johor Bahru campus. UTMKL campus is located at the center of KL city and the campus itself is way smaller than the JB campus. So I believe there’s lesser choice for hostel and much more pricier.

宿舍每一层楼厕所旁边都会晒衣服的地方 不过我是喜欢在房间晒衣服 就是把衣服晒在窗口

which science course are you taking? if you're taking physics, chemistry or maths, I would recommend you to find hostel like Kolej Rahman Putra, where is near to your faculty. If you're taking biology courses, I recommend you to stay at K10.

Things that required high electric usage are not allowed to bring like mini fridge.

What about the food do they provide it or u jave to eat it from outside??

There is a canteen downstairs. You can buy your food there.

@@user-tg1tv7rr7y it could be around RM5 to RM15 per meal so probably RM30 for one day. But it would be pricer if you're going to a nice cozy cafe in campus.

学姐你好我看了一些你的vlog想请问一下上课时是不是不一定需要穿衬衫西装裤（formal），所以是能穿普通Tshirt和普通长裤就可以了吗😃

我看到蛮多华人穿短裤的 可是我个人是怕被抓被举报 所以我都会换长裤才出门 若要去宿舍办公室的话就最好不要穿短裤 因为会被officer指责

what about iron and kettle? just bring it since day1, discuss with roommate 1st or already prepared?

Hostel doesn’t provide any of these electrical applications so we need to bring our own 😅

再请问你 在UTM Skudai 里面自己用什么mobile data 比较好，比如maxis,unifi,umobile,Digi,Celcom or yes？宿舍有备用饮水机 冷热直接喝那种？你们自己洗衣/附近有24小时laundry?

除了Umobile会差一些其他的都OK，Yes我就不太确定。宿舍底楼都有coway饮水机，热水冷水都有。然后每一层都有需自费的洗衣机，所以可以不需要特地跑到外面洗衣服。

除了一些基本日常用品，床单，枕头，热水壶都需要自己带。如果有需要的话，也可以自己带Table fan.

Hi. There is no specific course however if you just got the offer letter then the uni will arrange the hostel for you.

Yes I stay at this hostel until the last semester of my entire degree life. But in the end of every semester, you still have to return the key and apply the new room again for next semester.

@@janebujocan i ask one more thing. is there any merit requirements for students to apply for hostel every semester? cause like UM, i heard that you need to be active or obtain certain merit before you can keep staying inside the campus

yes it does have merit requirements in UTM as well. But I didn't really participated in a lot activities to secure a placement for hostel. Cuz the college I stayed in is quite isolated and far from center point. So not everyone would wanna stay there. I heard the hostel around center point will be more competitive to grab a placement. Those who didn't managed to get the room will ended up applying for the hostel that I was staying in.

请问， UTM Skudai foundation hostel 的mattress 是single or super single? 不过看起来你的好像是single

基本上每个宿舍的床应该都是一样的，所以foundation的应该也是single.

It is in my case. if you're the new intake, there is a high probability that you will get your coursemate as roommate. But it could be possible that your roommate is from different course. Really depends.

Yes as supposedly hostel doesn’t provide curtain. Just I was pretty lucky to get the room with curtain provided.

Yes K9 has two blocks, this is UA1.

Does that mean we need to pay for the stay daily or we can pay at once? Example like we pay for one month terus bcs too lazy too pay daily :')

You’ll pay your hostel fee at once! You will pay the fee for the whole semester right after you have done the registration of your hostel stay.

I’m not really sure but from what I know, the nearest hostel to your faculty is Kolej Tun Dr Ismail (KTDI).
