🗣️ Gregg Henriques
Dr. Gregg Henriques is Professor of Graduate Psychology at James Madison University in the Combined Doctoral Program in Clinical and School Psychology. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Vermont and did his post-doctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a theoretical psychologist and has developed the “Unified Theory of Knowledge,” which is a consilient scientific humanistic worldview to unify psychology. He is the author of A New Unified Theory of Psychology (Springer, 2011), and A New Synthesis for Solving the Problem of Psychology: Addressing the Enlightenment Gap (Palgrave McMillian, November 2022). His scholarly work has been published in the field’s best journals, and he has developed a popular blog on Psychology Today, Theory of Knowledge, which has received over nine million views. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the 2022 President of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration, and founded the Unified Theory of Knowledge (UTOK) academic society.
🗣️ John Vervaeke @johnvervaeke
John Vervaeke, Ph.D. is an award-winning professor of psychology, cognitive science, and Buddhist psychology at the University of Toronto.
🗣️ Bonnitta Roy @bonnittaroy
I am founder of Alderlore Insight Center, a non-profit educational organization and the curator of The POP-UP School, an online learning community exploring new ways of thinking and acting.
🗣️ Alexander Bard
Bard's central subject is the relationship between man and technology, both historically and far into the future. He has time and time again predicted new technological revolutions and continues to do so. As a consequence of this, Bard has over the years developed a burning interest in, and a vast knowledge of, psychoanalysis and anthropology as tools for understanding how interpersonal relationships are in turn affected by technological changes. Here, the activist Bard himself leads as a shining example with a Twitter account with 100,000s of followers around the world, and as a leader in the European Men's Movement (where today he also collaborates with young women to support them as they build their own much-needed counterpart). This development has meant that you are just as likely to find Bard today at a spiritual retreat center in the countryside as at a business conference in the big city. He thrives perfectly in both environments and so does his committed audience.
Alexander Bard has written six books together with Jan Söderqvist. The Netocrats (2000), The Global Empire (2003), The Body Machines (2009), Syntheism - Creating Good in the Internet Age (2014), Digital Libido - Sex, Power and Violence in the Network Society (2017) and Process and Event (2023). Bard has run both record and music publishing companies in the music industry with great international success in Europe and North America and was highly instrumental in the creation of "the Swedish music export miracle" from the 1990s onwards.

This was So Good. Bonnitas investigation into real vs truth was juicy as John usually replies. And Bards reinvigoration of a more subjective personal implicit dynamic via Hegel is also so enticing..and plausible. ^ I think much of the oft awe-inspiring nuance we realize in this life is due to aprori implicits or mysterious implicits...

It's possible that the negation of awe inspiring nuance is due to apriori complicits leading to mysterious implicits. Mysterious for the individual in the placing of the observer, leading to is/ought and so on, the observer always in the past and this inspiring a fix for a collective effort that is always propositional and on a different ontological level as removed from the Logos, ie clever rather than intelligent.

I can not help but map Bards modes or orders (Pathos, Logos, Mythos) onto the metaphysical domains of Landrys immanent metaphysics (Omniscience, Transcendence, Immanence) I am convinced we can trace these ideas all the way back to Pythagoras… at least to his early followers Unlimited Limit Harmonia

Interesting talk, thanks. Short note: Relationality has been a basic topic in “Easternthinking“, like, e.g., in Daoism, Buddhism, and Yijing-Learning - a huge amount of data still to be “mined“, so to speak. -Regards

Emotional intelligence is that communication between objects/holes where the closer to the logos like bacteria, the less of a hole they are as an object in terms of sequestered energy. If humans are doubled down (individually and collectively) as a "hole" then perhaps this possibility for emotional intelligence with a trampoline/disc/circle gives the springiness form to emerge, the 2d erupting into 3d. It's possible that killing other mammals removes this if mammals are an object.

Good Vibe by Bard in begging imho, say: "lets stop splitting hairs and unite/focus-together around discontinuing reductionism via honing on difficult relationality synching practice, lifting more poor souls from their dogmatic slumber, to begin with".

Can we ever get at the real or are we forever blocked by the nature of our sense organs and the way sense data is broken apart and analyzed by the many levels of brain processing?

Intelligence and smartness, one steals, the other shares.

@michaelerdmann4447 consider how slow this gap is. The speed of a book is old news too late, while transcripts of mental conversation occur at the speed of light. Conversation is dissuaded by lecture, writing is the fear the lecture was not heard.

@michaelerdmann4447 what is to say intelligence was shared, and now it’s specialized, expert, and shallow of its own complexities, names and objective sale? The telling can have no pause to think. The guru of finance, filters by slot machine appeal. Paid to speak = silence of speaking.
