Answer is NO. Smartphones are kind of saturated business now. The industry is stagnated and innovation will only happen in Flagships which will take years to come to midrange phones. compare when Samsung started giving AMOLED to when phones in 20k range started getting them. Compare when Samsung started Curve Display, and now recently it is coming to other phones. Also, to beat already established brands, a new brand has to SELL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE even with LOW MARGINS, the problem here is now selling a smartphone is difficult, as not many people are upgrading so often, probably after 3-4 or even 5 years. Also with low Margin they have to compensate with fewer software updates and optimization as the team is small, which is kind of important. When big companies like Nokia, Sony, LG, Balckberry, etc who had experience in Phone making aren't able to crack the market, it is impossible for new UNKNOWN brands.

@@UtsavTechie thanks, I mean even big brands like Apple knows it and has shifted the focus to VR/AR now. If it was just about manufacturing, and making a big brand, Ambani would have already established a Smartphone brand now when Jio is 100% focusing on Technology, he would have done it. But he knows it is just next to impossible to do it now, Lenovo knows it too, thus it is not coming back instead Motorola is coming back as they already have a good brand value. Lava, Karbon, Micromax, etc can definitely conquer under 10k market, but for how long ? as those users are generally Low Wage workers who would probably upgrade phones only when the previous one is BEYOND REPAIR, thus they might get good sales for 1-2 or even 3 years but after that what ? nothing. Not to mention, people generally buy their next phone a bit expensive, so their present 10k users would shift to 20k after 5-6 years when they will upgrade. so it's just not possible for new brand now, yes brands like Nokia still have the power to come back, but it is too much work for overcrowded industry that they won't come back.

Gamers bhi Xolo ke taraf hi zyada aakarshit hote the but lava ne xolo ko bhi budget category mein laa diya aur Xolo ki wo premium pehchan khatam ho gayi aur xolo doob gaya. Ab lava ko phir se Xolo ko ek high end premium brand ki tarha relaunch karna chahiye. Under 30k₹ phones Lava ke under aur Above 30k₹ high end premium flagship phones Xolo ke under.

Indian Mobile Companies need to focus on Software Experience. They can't just dump phones in the market and forget about it. Things like Os Upgrades, Security Updates and timely bugs fix and performance enhancement is mandatory to win trust specially those using Samsung.

If these companies would like to comeback, first they need to provide features rich smartphones with better specs and quality products. They should make more smartphones on affordable phones like under 10k or under 15k or under 20k which we Indians mostly buy. We need better software updates (3+4) in future days.

Still realme is best . Specially Karbonn mobiles is useless . And realme offers new realme narzo 60 pro under 20,000 with curved amoled 120hz refresh rate display and dual sterio speaker. But lava provide only 1 descent speaker under 24k . So it's a downgrade of lava and lava's camera is very descent. You can't send pics on Instagram if you click pics with lava .
