My average data per day is 3gb 5g. There are plans of BSNL that are cheaper than the 4g 1.5 per day and 3gb data data. And I have a good bsnl 3G conection which speed is 500-1024 kb/s. And my jio 5g is nothing close to the 4g it's below 1 mb/s

If companies provided 4G speeds (~100mbps) properly there would have been no need of 5G yet. But 4G speeds are usually little bit higher than that of 2G EDGE in India. So I don't think these "G"s are going to help further in the near future.

Very low download. and almost no upload speed. Towers are shut down during the night.. The 5G does not work in trains over in busses or in villages. Also, even in the cities, they promise that the game ping would significantly improve that. has not happened. We are getting same ping as we were getting in the 4G network.

5G tech is actually more geared towards connected tech like smart home, cars, buildings, etc over people using it cause all these smart devices are demanding more bandwidth. That's why in 5G's case, the range is extremely limited but has massive bandwidth. I would say, people should demand more stable 4G network over 5G penetration because the benefits from 5G are long term and not immediate. And having a fixed internet connection/WiFi is better any day. Already in crowded places of our biggest cities, one struggles to even make a phone call during peak hours even on 4G so better improve that. Our video/internet needs haven't reached the level yet that demands the bandwidth of 5G in day to day life.

5g is not at all failing....It's just slowing expanding cuz u need a 5g enabled device to access unlike 4g...Even I also don't own a 5g smartphone...So, we have to wait till3-5 yrs till everyone shifts to their newer 5g enabled phone !!

Things to consider before getting a fibre connection- You're data isn't secure. Because - 1)you can't have your own router. Whatever ONT airtel/jio is only gonna work. Now they have remote access to the router, so doesn't have access to what am i browsing or sending over? 2)ZTE Huawei are among the 4-5 other routers they are giving..like seriously Huawei ZTE (that's the case for airtel don't know about jio)

This year i have decided to install wifi in my home, but jio fiber cable is 1 km away from my home and their are other local broadband near my home then i have decided to to install jio air fiber which was available, but trust me it works very well no lag at all and i use 30mbps plan acording to my usage no issue in the upload and download speed using it since 6 months.

I noticed it too. I just switch to 4G and LTE instead of 5G, because even though it connects automatically, it just gives me worse speed and coverage, and worse battery life.

I live in village in my area internet speed is very poor literally very poor... I was waiting for broadband connection but no one can provide... In my village so i heard about jioairfiber believe me guys im using this from 20 days... I got no issue... I have 30mbps plan so speed is not constant bcoz it's no a jiofiber it is airfiber but it gives 1.8 MBps to 3.9 MBps this is enough for me i have used 350 GB in 20 days

Bhai video me revolution aur use case ka bahot use hua hai. Ab bata bhi dete ki 4G ne kya revolution laya tha aur uske kya kya use cases the ? High speed internet ka ek hi use case hai to enable faster connectivity which 5G is doing. Prices will rise to accommodate the cost but ab 5G se remote areas me bhi high speed internet aa gayi hai warna remote areas me 4G bhi less than 1 Mbps pe chalta tha. I still prefer 250 Mbps of 5G than 40 Mbps of 4G.

Battery drain issue in the main problem. I am using lava agni 2, using wifi gives 12-13 hrs screen on time, usin 4g gives 8-9 hrs screen on time and using 5g gives 5hrs 30 mins to 6hrs 30 mins screen on time. If u leave 5g on in your mobile while screen is off it drains around 15 percent in 8 hours.

I disagree with you. Yaar 5G se mujhe bahut fark pada hai. Pahli baat to koi bhi high quality video dekhte waqt buffering nahi hoti. Pahle 4G me agar video play karte the to kabhi kabhi buffering hoti thi. Dusri baat koi bhi badi file download karni ho to wo kuch seconds me ho jati hai. Matlab yar advantages yo bahut jyada hai. Wo depend karta hai ki aapki requirements kya hai. Kuch log stable 3G connection me bhi kaam chala lete hai. Iska matlab yah to nahi ki nayi technology useless hai? Agar aap quality videos stream karna chahte ho to 5G best hai.

I get 5g in a very unstable form 50 percent of the time it switches to 4g When I get 5g I get about download speed 250 to 500 kbps on ookla 😂 Availability of 5g in usa is the best according to the study India lacks in that India's download 5g speed is higher than usa median download speed but the actual thing is availability and coverage area the most important thing for a 5g network.

This may sound odd, but I found Jio's 5G penetration is much better than 4G... Most of the time and in most of the places I get 5G full network bars and good speed too... But as you mentioned 5G success depends on pricing AS WELL AS data quota... I am extensively using 5G because it's free unlimited.. the moment they start charging I may continue to stay in 4G unless they offer 5G @ 4G rate card
