Hi Stephanie. Correct. I knew beforehand due to my own research but GP did not disclose during consultation. Although I knew, I agree it being mandatory patients be advised pre examination.

I believe this to be true. Who could blame them, there's no incentive to go after the tough work, if anything they are likely to appear in some social media feed as acting in a way someone disagrees with etc. Policing niceties isn't quite as stressful, a bit of tutting from journalists can be dealt with. I believe this is happening in all services. The easy work (not really essential when pitted against more challenging work) is getting prioritised because nobody is keeping an eye on the big stuff (it's all too big from numbers to the organisations themselves), staff aren't promoted on websites and posters for the grittier stuff, and workers aren't incentivised to do the hard work but their caseloads lessen and they get paid all the same.

Every law-abiding Britain should be allowed to be armed on the street: knife, slapjack, baton, or gun, these are the tools for law-abiding citizens: because the criminals are already carrying all those things and doing so quite illegally. @@dianecameron137 Men should know if their doctor is of female sex - they likely wont know as much about dangly bits as a male. Urologists are always male. However, I imagine some men wouldnt give a toss. Women need regular smear examinations which are internal while men only occaisionally need to see about their dangly bits. Men have bodily weapons that can be used to assault women, and there is a higher risk of a male being a pervert and acting on it. Men should also know if their GP is a so-called trans woman (male). They may also feel uncomfortable with a doctor like that for many reasons, and its their right to see someone else if they want.
