Great video. I have the same machine, just bought it yesterday. You use t6 oil , I use t4 in my honda dirt bikes and it's great oil. What's the difference between t6 and t4? Thank you

thanks, I believe the t4 is a conventional oil while the t6 is the full synthetic. And hell yeah rotella is great for a wide variety of machines and equipment. Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a question in the comments. Congrats on your new machine. Cheers

That is a great idea on how to improve these videos and I will definitely incorporate it into next one. Unfortunately under specifications for this 14' maverick max on page 125 of operators guide all it says about oil filter is "BRP Rotax paper type, replaceable" And I threw out the box. I usually just call dealer and pick up whichever filter they have for the year make and model, but will start including the parts numbers as well as what machines it looks like they fit in future videos. Hell yeah, your the 2nd viewer whose asked for a spark plug video and since the Can-Am book says to replace them every 200 hours, or 100 under "Severe" conditions, I'll definitely add it to the list of videos to include in our 1000 beer challenge. not sure exactly what you mean, I don't have a maverick at the moment, but I don't remember a gauge for temp and I believe they flash on the screen if they get hot? hope this helps and thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a question in the comments. Cheers

I have a commander and you can’t do it without making a mess, the drain hole in the pan is too small and runs all over the pan and of course the oil filter also, wish it had a spin on, mine is a 2011 with 17000 miles on it and have replaced the crush washer on the oil plug once and never replaced the o ring on the filter

Very true, with the skid plate on it gets messy quick. And that's awesome to hear about one of these machines with 17k miles and that you can get away without replacing the crush washer or o ring as regularly as brp might have us believe.
