Big events like these offer free 30 minute test drives. It's a planned route but they go at a pretty good pace.

I remembered you without even going back and watching the video. What type of aftermarket suspension do you have on that rig. I've got a 2013 wrangler that I'd like to handle better on the dunes.

Yes, two gopro 10s. Their software for smoothing out the video has come a long ways.

I'm always scared for the quads out there. Yes, the red yxz is my cousin.

It's a blast. Nothing else like it. I know Glamis has a lot more people on holiday weekends but I've never seen a video of a group ride like this.

2 GoPro 10's. I edited it so the audio came from the back camera only. This masked the music that was playing in the car.

No dirt anywhere. open spaces and trails are 100% sand. Paddles will make a difference but you can get away with airing down your tires.

@@hectorjimenez1535 make sure to check out the day rides. They don't make for as exciting of content to watch but they are longer, single file riding and no bottlenecks.

I split the audit from the two clips and used only the rear audio for the entire video.

This year's event is 4 1/2 months away. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Are you coming this year? Did you do any day rides last year?

There is one week out of the year that it's this busy. The nice thing about this many people is you know there won't be traffic coming head on from the other direction. But it's fun the other times of the year as well.

I was always told the front was full of crazies. I don't want to be in the top 20 but I'd like to be in the first 100 this year to avoid the traffic jams. Are you going next week?

I'm sure there was at least one. However, the driver would sure take a beating if they were trying to keep with the flow of traffic. Completely different suspension setup.

Coos Bay Oregon. This years event is June 25-30. Tickets go on sale tomorrow?

There are concerns of drinking and driving which is why they put a 10:00pm curfew on this year's event. That way they had probable cause to pull over anyone they wanted after that time. To my knowledge no one was hurt this year or last year from drinking and driving. But regardless, drinking and driving is wrong which caused the need for the curfew.

I know, it sounds amazing. I'm just glad my head isn't 2 feet from the muffler like the camera is.

@@ufciceman8975 yes, they do. I would suggest coos bay if your renting. I think they run 220/hr or 800 for a day. However, if you come to utv takeover you can test drive each machine with the three different companies. You'll probably end up running at a faster speed too with someone guiding you to show you what these things can do.
