This is my first time watching this show to the end and I love it. Nana Aba just gained my respect, she's really a good person.

Recidivism is a Criminal Justice terminology. I majored in CJ in College. Nana Aba explained it very well. Recidivism is very heightened in American jails / prisons due to the comfortable amenities the prisoners enjoy. For example, they have three square meals a day, have access to gyms and cable television. The Ghana Prison system lack such comfortable amenities. So it is conceivable that an ex-convict in America could easily become a recidivist unlike his Ghanaian counterpart. One would think very hard to return to Ghana prison after spending some years there. American prisons, except losing your freedom, is indeed a paradise.
