5 ай бұрынWindows95man takes part in Finland’s Contest for New Music (UMK) 2024 with his song “No Rules!”, featuring Henri Piispanen. This track is the artist's first single and a party banger that opposes unnecessarily restrictive rules.
Finland's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest will be chosen during a live UMK final broadcast on February 10 at 9 PM at Nokia Arena, Tampere. The show will be broadcast by Yle TV1, Yle Areena, YleX, Yle Radio Suomi, and Yle X3M.

I love how this song is a parody of the 90's.. Like if you don't get it you're either too young or too old. (And if you want to dig deeper it is about the economic depression in Finland at the time (1995), and how Nokia phones sort of dragged us out of there). Ok, and Icehockey too. Never forget.

@@TheMightyKinkle I guess true Windows 95 man would use the only fullscreen wallpaper that came with Windows 95: clouds. Computers at that time had so little RAM that using a true full screen wallpaper was not considered a realistic move. A full color wallpaper sized 1024x768 pixels requires 2.25 MB of RAM to render and computers at that time typically had 8 or 16 MB. It's like using a 2 gigabyte video as your windows background nowadays.

Jep siitä ei pääse mihinkään että tän vuoden tarjonta on heikointa pitkään aikaan Ei näistä yksikään pärjää viisuissa mutta tää nyt sentään jotenkin jäi mieleen Mutta kai se oli odotettavissa että jossain kohtaa UMK ehdokkaiden ja biisien taso tulee ryminällä alas, melko monta poikkeuksellisen hyvää vuotta tässä on ollutkin putkeen.

@@Balnazzardi Sanoisin, että keskimäärin tän vuoden tarjonta on aikalailla sama kuin aiempina vuosina. Puuttuu vaa se yks kova kappale (esim. 2020 erika vikman, 21 blind channel, 22 bess, 23 käärijä). Ilman Käärijää sanoisin, että viime vuosi olisi ollut samalla tasolla tähän vuoteen verrattuna, ehkä jopa heikompi.

@@Balnazzardi käärijä esitys oli hsuska ja cha cha oli ainoa minkä kaikki ymmärsi aito persoona. Tänä vuonna tulee tylsät viisut ku genre on tota räppiä ja onhan tuo sveitsi aivan järkyttävä enkä tykkää tosta kroatiasta. Ukrainan herkkää biisiin piti räppi sotkea.
