바이칼 호수에 있는 투바 공화국 소속이예요. 몽골하고 붙어있기도 하고, 문화적으로 겹치기도 하지만. 우리로 치면 한반도 언어와 제주도 언어가 다르듯 몽골인들더러 이 들의 노래를 해석해달라하면 모릅니다. 그리고 몽골이랑 투바공화국의 전통 창법은 흐밋이라고 해서 후성음악 혹은 throat song 이라고도 하는데, 목에서 동시에 이중의 음과 소리를 떨듯이 내는 소리 음악입니다. 이런 전통 음악에 메탈 음악을 접목한 것을 포크메탈이라고 하구요. 투바공화국은 이미 70년대부터 시베리아 재즈라고도 불릴 정도로 전통음악과 서양의 재즈@소울 과 접목 합동 공연하는 사례들이 많이 있어 왔었죠.

These guys seriously need to be touring with Iron Maiden. They will have a huge built in fan base if they do. They have the same vibe, like Wasted Years era Iron Maiden. This is terrific. Everyone here in the Deep South of the USA knows about the Hu Band, and now we have Uuhai. This is badass.
