This running gag gives me a really bittersweet feeling. The new VA did a decent job, but I still miss Brad's performance as Kobayashi.

@@AMTRAX Now that i've finished it, my thoughts have done a 180 degrees since you did a good job as Kaniza? I think that was his name. The fact that you made the character sound more impatient as a callback to how Date kept forgetting his name in the original game was a nice touch too. Also, was the Spanish message your idea or Spike's? Because the translation was...interesting

Best pat of the whole thing is when you’re done with the dialogue “I know his name. I don’t need to ask” “I’m pretty sure I know his name” “His name has disappeared in the void. I need to ask”

I love how one of the hints to the big twist is Kagami not being mad at bibi for asking his name again after finding tarer’s body because that was actually Mizuki finding tarer’s body and bibi finding chikara’s

I checked the Japanese version of the game, and it turns out the Japanese dub actually did say it in Spanish as well, which is just as hilarious

if you pick no for knowing about the first game he has slightly differnt dialog during the first stadium and studio scenes, theres also a funny scene if you look in the mirror during the first part of ryukis somnium

If you pick yes that you have seen the first game than you can put in kaniza and Kagami for funny results(do kaniza many times)

why do I have a different dialogue? in your video first scene. he said " *sign* I have a bad feeling about this, but ... you really wanna know my name?" but in my version he said " Wow I'm honored that you ask!"

You must be playing the version that doesn't have spoilers for Ai1. the "bad feeling about this" is the fact that the joke started in Ai1.
