I love this version of XFX2. I've been working and playing with the sounds, fantastic layout, and user interface, well thought-out and intuitive categories. This version, for me, is already a must-have for adding sound effects to visuals and making music with Foley sounds

I just got it too!!! This is the first soundware that I had to purchase right when it came out. I work on audio dramas and animation, so this is GODLY!!!

To confirm: You can add your own user samples. Drag and drop. You can load up to 28 samples in 28 slots to create a Scene. Each scene can be saved as well (where UVI places the sample info however was not stated).

@@FreshnessStudio1 It is one file at a time, its made this way because you can chose the specific position of each sample on your keyboard.

@electroniccaveman3493 Yes, it's also for music but not exclusively. I make music myself also, and this will work for sure, but it also works for sound design for film. I already bought a copy yesterday.

Create a Fantasy Synth sample library. A library with a lot of fantasy like plucks, keys, leads and basses. A synthesizer that blends extremely well with orchestra, like it is a part of the orchestra. The best example is the Demon Slayer score by Go Shiina.

Good they updated this. For some reason, I still don’t like the patch browser. Halion’s is much better. I have the new Synth Anthology and it’s so hard to get at the sounds. Good video!

Looking forward to playing with this after downloading the update. I use the previous version all the time. Edit: This update isn't free for owners of Xtreme FX 1, but the price for the upgrade was fair. Just updated it and I'm loving the new UI and all the workflow improvements! And the sounds..... 👏Top update, friends!

UVI, could you please answer this simple question. Are all the sounds from Xtreme FX 1 included in 2? If so, how many new sounds have been added to Xtreme FX 2?

@@kingslaphappy1533 As i said, we only added few of v1 samples. It's about 500 samples maximum out of the 4200 samples provided in v2

As an upgrader of 2 of the previous products (Synth Anthology and Extreme FX) they do say that the upgrades include the old versions sounds. I make a competing product with UVI Falcoln, but I respect UVI’s hard work. What may be an area of opportunity is unifying the interfaces. Old version sounds are in a completely different browsing location and use the old interfaces. I for one am not a fan of learning to sound design 100 different ways just to have a fancy new interface for ads. Regardless..Go team UVI! The hardest working company in the game! Let’s get that Plugsound Pro Update comimg! SpiderWerks DSP salutes you guys! SKYFALL development team.

Some of them yes, but mostly it's made of new fresh sounds.

It's just a file by file - drag n drop format - - quite a performance gap there

I really wonder if we can do a drag & drop of a sound as audio clip in our DAW… a lot of times the final mix post-prod is done with audio tracks only, no midi or VST instruments. So it would be useful to tweak the sound in the plugin and once we have the sound we want, simply drag & drop it in our session.

You could do that but it's mostly recommended to bounce it, because of the loop function, you could have way more than just the raw sample

I updated to UVI Falcon 3.0, and I have a huge problem. I can’t use Falcon on my older projects but I can on newer projects. Is there any solution to this? (Context: visuals are working and I am using FL Studio 21)

Is it possible to rearrange the internal sounds, so I can create sets with sounds from different categories?

Yes it is but you would have to export sounds you like, and then import them back on the new categorie you would like to create.

@@LouisWeiser Thank you! That's quite sad. I bought it nevertheless. Will probably use it as a foley library. Everytime I want to use it as an instrument, something is missing (multi out, width control, end marker ...) and the Expand feature does sound quite artificial, when pitched up some semitones.
