Demonstrators are entering their second week of encampments on Library Mall. Since then, more tents have gone up despite UW and police efforts to tear them down.
Faculty and staff have also joined the movement. On Monday, they hosted their own walkout which started on Library Mall and made its way up Bascom Hill to Bascom Hall where Chancellor Mnookin made remarks at the Faculty Senate Meeting.
