I've never seen chemistry like this between two actors before. I never get tired of this show.

Getting ready for the last season, season 10, in Denmark. Can't wait - watched this show over and over again - it's so great, one get to follow all the social classes, the staff, the guests and all in between. Amazingly good acting and storylines - a lot of tabu's are shown in a very fine way. The show has such lightness to it, therefore we were all wondering how the show would turn out when the 2. world war hit Denmark in 1940-1945 - of course turs a little darker, but my god - the writers did such a good job in making examples of more general problems back then. There were many love stories like Uwe and Amanda's at that time and it was incredibly dangerous to fall in love with "the enemy", even when the German soldiers were against the war but forced into it . On so many levels this is such an amazing show.

Yas, LOVE that you’re vidding this show and especially these two!! I couldn’t stand this guy in season 7, and then i found myself caring most about these two and their relationship (or lack of) in season 8. I was furious that the season ended with the two of them only barely touching hands, as i was expecting at leaat one kiss. This girl can literally not catch a break. Its like her life is nothing but dealing with other people’s shit, and worrying about the hotel, and her personal life has just vanished. Aah! So thanks for making this stunning piece of them. Is there any chance you’ll make more videos about this fandom? I’ve only ever found one more that you made last year if i remember correct 😅

I care, cant really say which most, but i find it so sweet,and yet so sad,who knows how it ends. Like she said i wish there was no war. I still wonder about what she told her mother about his beliefs when she asked,cause it was hard to understand what he really was saying in the scene she was mention.... Storytime and complication aside, they are very sweet,he is so caring and such a gentleman it seems,and very not selfish and terrifyring consindering his job,and really not his personality dosnt seem other than sweet,but i know that was the readers wanted,someone who could show a smile so to say(dont remeber the right words). Is it wrong(history looked,not personally) that i think he is quite handsome to) Sorry the long reply,its like Edith and Valter,or Vera and her husband it always the side romance that most catch you (or something) that should get a bit more screen time,because they are great to(but i wond call Uwe and Amanda not screentime focust)
