We are now at the point in Dan Raymer's book "Simplified Aircraft Design for Homebuilders" book that we can make the first estimate of the weight of the UWS-4 Ultralight Airplane. In this case will choose to use some equations for the weight estimation of the wing, horizontal tail and vertical tail.
In this video we will take a look at these equations to try to understand them because we will make some modification in Part 12 B to make them more applicable to ultralight airplanes.
