I am able to reduce atleast 4 units a day, as well use Induction stove at 500w and save Gas. Run my water motor during Sunlight. Everyday able to use Battery source , so that my Batteries life time is saved.

Sir, I'm having 2kw on grid 525w × 4 =2100w solar panel and 2200w growatt on grid inverter in service on our home, rate of EB power failure ever increasing, thus can we introduce retro fittings in parallel connect to pv panels through my normal inverter system with MPPT.

Are you trying to shift the solar production to off grid inverter instead of ongird? If so, its better to get an mppt inverter if you need more efficiency. SMU are not as efficient as solar inverters.. 👍

Cheaper inverters are square wave or modified steeped sine wave. There are many good inverters that gives sine wave output.

For smaller systems that are lesser than 2kw are easy to install. Its also better to hire an electrician for only one day after purchasing all the required items. Let me know if you need any inputs on how to install.

2.4 KV inverter would be able to run it bro. Use panels to charge your battery and run your ac with inverter. More battery means more run time.

Do you have a roof top space? Else if you have the sun light facing wall, minimum amount of panels can be installed like an AC outdoor unit.

Hello Brother, I need your help in clarifying my doubts regarding on-grid solar consumption. I just moved to a house for rent in which an on-grid solar panel is installed. I got a 1st-month EB bill yesterday & as per the EB meter, I consumed 680 Units & the CC charges in the bill mentioned is Rs.3470 My house owner says that his panel exported 420 kWh in the last 2 months & he shared the below calculations & asking me to pay him the additional amount. 680 + 420= 1100 kWh. I must pay Rs. 3470 to TNEB as per bill And additionally, the House owner asking Rs. 4,620 (420*11 Rs as per Govt rate ) for the solar production. Is that calculations correct? Please help with the correct calculations

Is it included in the agreement that you will pay for the solar production cost to your house owner? If not ask him to switch off the unit and pay the bill provided by the electricity board directly. Is it legal for the house owner to sell you electricity like this?

You have to check that out. Do this way. On a normal day, switch off the hybrid inverter and see how many units are consumed. Next day switch on the inverter and see how much it generates. This is possible if there is a separate meter.

150ah battery @12v, a 200watt panel would need 20A charge controller just to charge the battery from morning to evening. It's good to have a 30A or 40A controller for two batteries if the panel capacity is higher.

Calculate the power consumption of AC. Multiply it by 24 and divide it by 7. That's the amount of panel you need approximately.
