A scene from the film 'V for Vendetta' where V introduces himself to Evy through a speech full of alliteration. It is much better in high quality and I hope you enjoye it!
Forgive me if you experience a stutter in the camera movement, I don't think my Mac was able to handle rendering it!

I like how V isn't above making fun of himself. Vichyssoise is a French potato soup. His excessive verbosity renders his words meaningless to the majority of people little more than a potato soup posturing to be something more than the sum parts that constitute his monologue. He acknowledges it and laughs at himself seeing his own vanity yet claiming to not be motivated by it. Even thought he says he does what he does for the people at least on some level he is also just doing it for himself. He sees the irony of it and cant help but laugh.

Here's the version from the graphic novel EDIT: Okay, I get it, it apparently wasn't in the graphic novel. I'd read that it was when I wrote this comment (That being sometime in 2016-2017), and copy/pasted the transcript given and edited it to boldify the V-words. *Voilà!* In *view,* a humble *vaudevillian veteran,* cast *vicariously* as both *victim* and *villain* by the *vicissitudes* of Fate. This *visage,* no mere *veneer* of *vanity,* is a *vestige* of the *vox* populi, now *vacant, vanished,* as the once *vital voice* of the *verisimilitude* now *venerates* what they once *vilified.* However, this *valorous visitation* of a bygone *vexation* stands *vivified,* and has *vowed* to *vanquish* these *venal* and *virulent vermin vanguarding vice* and *vouchsafing* the *violently vicious* and *voracious violation* of *volition.* The only *verdict* is *vengeance;* a *vendetta* held as a *votive,* not in *vain,* for the *value* and *veracity* of such shall one day *vindicate* the *vigilant* and the *virtuous.* *Verily,* this *vichyssoise* of *verbiage veers* most *verbose vis-à-vis* an introduction, and so it is my *very* good honour to meet you and you may call me *V.*

This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
