I wish that would happen but at the end of the day the purpose of a safety car is to slow down the pack… and this (or the AMG ONE) are probably faster than the Williams 😂

@@mouti8995 /Nico Rosberg ”the Valkyrie will be capable of achieving lap times 95 percent as quick as a modern Formula 1 car.” refering to the 2020/2021 cars. With the performance cut off this year it is not unlikely to match or even outperform an F1 car in its favored conditions. :/

Adrian Newey had little part to play in this car development. Although it was his idea, he left the project very early. He also has said that the car is not quite what is originally wanted. You take your time to read about of this online.

@@TheMitch12356 he was the one who designed the car and he left when the RB-AM contract ended.. there was a working model when he was working on it and there's even videos online of it. He had to leave because the partnership ended then they further hired someone else to make a few modifications and finish it . So it's wrong to say he had only involved a little and yes ik it's not as Adrian wanted because they made changes to it. I've read all about this long ago

I got burned out on , to me , weird looking hyper cars but seeing this one here for the first time it's my favorite . Looks great like the classic organic shapes of the Porsche 917/ Ferrari 330's era cars tastefully evolved . Fine job Aston .

It's only an Aston in name: Adrian Newey designed it with the team at Red Bull Advanced Technologies and the engine is built by Cosworth

@@StevenQ74 Red Bull Advanced Technologies was contracted by Aston to design it. Newey pitched the idea to Aston and they contracted RBAT.

this naturally aspirated v12 which produces 1000 horse power in valkyrie is the best in road legal versions of hypercars without turbochargers or superchargers.

possible, yes, won't happen though, would cost too much money to develop and has no series to compete in and couldn't be road legal

perhaps not enough down force, it looks rather barren on the bottom from certain camera angles

@@DaDoubleDee definitely not. The Valkyrie can produce over 1500kg of down force. Much more than other cars with around 1100hp. The lack of traction was more likely due to cold tyres or a dirty track.

This is gonna sound like one of 'those' KZfaq posts but.. its true. My cousin is a welder in the mororsport industry. Specialises in Intercoolers but does rads and it her stuff too. He sent me pics as he was working on the race version of it. Apparently the Rads on the race version were around £12k. The special cores alone were several grand 😳

With so many supercars and hypercars around i find that im usually not so impressed by any, save but a very small few. But this thing is one of the few that lives up to expectations. Its an Lemans LMP for the road. YOu cant understate the sort of achievement made in order to make a car like this a viable road legal road car. its not about having proper lights and indicators and all that junk, Its about what they have enabled to work on a day to day uuable basis. need we forget, race cars dont last after a race.

I´tll be interesting to see how would it compare against the t50 on the goodwood hill or better jet on the high speed goodwood racing circuit- Certainly the downforce would give Valkyrie higher average speeds but in the rain I bet the t50 would have the edge. T50 is created to be as subtle as possible in terms of suspension stiffness, I guess it should put itś power down earlier in the corner. Despite the Valkyrie squirming under acceleration and braking like no other road legal car I´ve seen before I am astonished by the composure of its rear end departure rate

Always fun to see Anything run up Goodwood!, hope to get back there next year...........but T50 and Valkyrie have completely different design briefs(plenty of great videos on each here on YT), though perhaps similar price range.........too hard to beat/compete just on specs now a days......especially since a Tesla Plaid will beat them both to 60 by at least .5 second. Valkyrie would wipe the floor with a T.50 in any competition of speed. A T.50 is about how it feels to drive rather than being godly fast like a Valk or AMG One etc etc

the t50 is created to be great on the road. the valkriy will be much more geared towards track so i think it will be a much better performer. the t50s might be a better comparison.
