She is rllyyy stunning but ppl don’t realize modeling mostly looks for unique looking people not solely just “attractive” people. I got scouted once and said I had a unique look. So this is motivation for people who want to model, you might have something unique someone who wants, apply!!

I'm signed with a modelling agency and I agree that modelling is about sacrifice. They choose your hair colour, they choose your style whether you like it or not. Most of the time I do my modelling job, I barely eat. I can get randomly a modelling job appointment in a different town and like I have to attend it right away (they don't care what I do and where I am), I'm a full time master student and I also have corporate jobs. Modelling is not my primary income, it is just actually for fun. Good that I could earn a bit money from it but it's not enough to make a living. I'm thinking of quitting my agency or just being a freelance. I feel like they control my life and sometimes they are egoist, being pushy without thinking from my pov.I don't regret anything, it was worth for a life lesson

HUH???? they make you pay for the hair dye appointments THEY'RE forcing you to do??? this would be a huge red flag in literally any other industry lol the audacity

Hey girl! I've been modelling for a living for 9 years now but it's not a career I chose, I just got really lucky. Just so you know, you can TOTALLY model without an agency! Plenty of companies and brands find potential models from Instagram nowadays. Being in a modelling agency basically means that you will go to LOT'S of auditions. Sometimes agencies can have "ties" with certain brands or magazines and can get you jobs but most of the time their job is just to answer phone calls and take 50% of your money :) Being in an agency definitely puts a ton of pressure on you and limits certain things you can do with you life so please think about it before you sign any serious contracts!

I’m glad it went relatively well. It must be hard to go to random places everyday worrying about if you can eat or not but I think you’re so strong for enduring it all and willing to do it again. We’re supporting you whether or not you become a super famous model or anything else ❤

The thing i really got when modelling is that you are their product. I did it for abit and after just chose to go freelance. My mental health and vibe with my body got way better afterwards. I have a friend who models as well and what you described matches her experience too. She has almost no control over hair color etc., has to limit how much and what she gets to eat, and has to travel for shoots at all hours of the day. Also modeling makes money but definitely not as much as people claim it to be. Besides the drawbacks this is a career she chose for herself and she is doing better more recently, I hope your situation improves soon too ❤ I also suggest looking into working freelance as I’ve heard that agencies are super restrictive whereas freelance can let you have more control over your appearance!

I think that's alright. Starting out in an industry like this, as I've seen from the comments, is difficult. They kinda own your image. I think at some point you could totally model independently. It shows how much of a budget you would need just to start modeling too, even though the test shoots can be provided for free, you pay for your own flights, your own hotel, and your hair expenses 😅 I think if anyone wants to model, having your natural hair color is you best bet, it will cut a lot of expenses from maintenance…
