I love HP as much as the next guy but what is the point of all that power in a top heavy truck with a 6 inch lift that u still wanted 4x4 option for im assuming to go off road? Unless you're driving a dam 4x2 trophy truck u can't use that power off road

Nithia Nathan the v8 puts out about 550nm stock the Diesel 470nm Diesel engines make more torque then petrol engines. Diesels run a lot cooler to and more fuel efficient

That's actually a pretty cool conversion... I personally would have opted for a barra turbo. It would have been cheaper and would have no problems fetching close to 400rwkw to the wheels with only a few little bolt on mods including valve springs. Either way kudos mate looks the goods 👌

Im doing a lpg barra turbo in a 2004 troopy, with the 3540 positive boost comes on at 1270rpm and ive set the idle at 900rpm so boost comes on almost straight away. Not going for big power, 280rwkw but torque around 850nm from 1500rpm which is more than enough. The tr6060 and loom setup is a fark around though....

Or u could have just bought a f150 raptor for the same price u spent making this transplanting work and saved a lot of time. There will be ongoing headaches in the future where different modules lose communication. But if u got the money and don't care about the drama involved then go for it! Been there done that nothing wrong with it

Ranger Raptor with a V8, I hope the rumor is true. Dodge: we will put a V8 in anything Ford: lets take the smallest engine possible and get as much HP out of it as possible. Chevy: Im not sure what they are doing TBH.

What's the point of pointing a v8 in a 4wd? It costs more to run, you barely use any of its power when 4wding unless your bouncing up a mountain smashing everything and breaking everything. In my opinion there's only 2 good things about having a v8 in a forbie, sound and high way driving

I would have gone the opposite direction and made it 4x2 & lowered it as a street machine...but it's still an option.....now that holden & ford no longer make v8 utes
