V8 Vantage S with Bamford Rose sports exhaust

Here is my Aston Vantage S with version 2 of its Bamford Rose sports exhaust. Equal length primary manifolds as V1. The X-pipe is gone and small silencers (baffled pipes) have been added immediately behind the 200 cell cats. OEM Vantage S back box. The burble is back :D

Took you long enough to get her excited. Watching the stepford wife in the driveway whisper was foreplay when you went hard on what seemed to be a long driveway. RnR🏁

Hi Pete, you mention the burble is back - are you able to share if you had something else aftermarket on there before, and how that sounded different? Sounds sensational btw. Cheers Andrew / QuantumV8

The first version had an X-pipe in place of the tiny H-pipe the OEM exhaust has in the mid section (and this version returned to with the addition of the small silencers immediately behind each cat). The X-pipe version had a great top end with a real howl but the bottom end was a bit "flat" with almost no burble. Amazing how different they sounded really. Anyway, three years on and I've stuck with this as it is perfect for me both in volume and character. It was the first time BR had done it this way for a V8 but it is now their default offering. Says it all really.

What color is this, black or like dark grey?

It's a dark, heavily metallic dark grey called Ceramic Grey in Aston speak. It's a lovely colour, changes in different light and is not quite as much of a PITA as black for showing dirt.

About £5K. Exact price depends on whether or not you get the clutch/flywheel upgrade done at the same time. Best to contact Bamford Rose directly.

@@astonishing1964 Yes Martin. Exhaust, clutch & flywheel, fast road geo and gear linkage mod all at the same time. Add Michelin PS4S tyres and you get a very rewarding drive. You won't regret it :)
