The person who worked with that Mercedes should not be alowed to work with cars at all, it's both fraud and could maybe get dangerus. But you are doing a great job showing this, and i love how kind and loving you are with your beautiful cat :-)

How the hell do these people keep their jobs? This is sheer incompetency. I've been blessed with a shop that's run by as a family business and the fact that i do my own work when time allows it, but damn each time i see one of your videos i feel like i was blessed or something.

And that is why I do all my own car repairs and that why my 22 year old Fairmont that's done 650,000 km with original engine is still purring .I worked for a mechanic chain long ago and was shocked at the work that was being classed as acceptable.

I've had jobs go wrong before, but all this stuff is SO SIMPLE! Any teenage kid can be taught to check a belt or a wheel for end play. But they can't find what they don't look for.

Wow...I'm glad where I live the inspections are quite basic. I've never seen front pads do that before. Once my dad sent me for a free brake inspection when I was 16. I had a young guy leave my rear wheel bearing loose after he inspected a drum brake (American 1990 Ford Escort). I was really upset when I got home, took it back apart and realized what he did.

its because of shit like this that i won't let any mechanic in Sydney touch any of my cars ill only go to one for rego inspection tires or a wheel alignment or a/c regas,everything else I do myself,been screwed enough and made four different guys loose their blue slip lisence

So no anti rattle clips in the back. When you stood on the brake you said it made harrible noises i thought u were gonna go on about the abs system, ive had my proportioning valve and my dump valve on the riggt right rear go out. Bad times

Fucking hell!!, i dont think it went anywhere near a roadworthy inspection, it was a (wink wink get it through for me) job, someone just filled the paperwork out, nothing else.

Brad, even an apprentice wouldn't butcher the brakes that badly. That looks like a 10 year old with absolutely no mechanic knowledge put those brakes back together. I cant believe it even bolted up like that. How could you not notice the pads that came off look totally different??

I don't care whether is a $14K Chevy Spark, or a $114K Mercedes Benz: YOU ALWAYS CHECK THE PARTS YOU BUY TO MAKE DAMN SURE THEY WILL FIT! Someone is DEFINITELY Getting their Pink Slip for this!

That's just... Wow. You guys have a Trading standards agency or something that you can report this too as that is just not acceptable. Brakes are sort of important, yes? That's just not safe at all!

I wouldn't trust to send that car back to whatever shop did that, even if they issued a full refund and repaired it for free. Seriously, what the fuck?
