I have gone through my appeal on a fast review because of my age.I presented my case but the judge ordered another C&P exam. The C&P examiner basically said that medical journals did not support my position,but,he could not name or cite the sources.I went to another exam with a different examiner who submitted a DBQ about two months ago.That DBQ is still sitting in "waiting for evidence".They are in possession of the DBQ,what else could they be waiting for? How long after the hearing with VLJ will I receive my decision? I am in the legacy appeal line and I already had my hearing 1 year ago. It says online that I'll receive a decision soon but it has been saying that for months. Plus I have over 30k people ahead of me according to the VA timeline. How accurate is that?

I got a hearing for IBS that was denied twice for no service connection. It was diagnosed in 2019. The VA website says IBS is a presumptive for Gulf War Veterans ( which I am) and can claim any time after separation and don't have to prove a connection to service. My hearing is in Aug. after a long 4 year wait. Will the judge rule in my favor and will I get back pay if he does?

My claim has been in for 15 months. Just got my PTSD back at 30%, which I don't agree with and got informed that my heatstroke was not service connected even though I got medevaced for that at NTC. Deployed 7 times, 6 to combat where I received contact on all of them. I don't know how to get in touch with someone that can help me out. About to go for my 1st medical appointment with a VA provider since I retired. I think the system is extremely broken and information is hard to acquire on getting the benefits afforded to soldiers.

@@prestigeveteranmedical So, quick update. I did my paperwork by myself and got my rating today of over 100% (was around 180%)... Had my va health appointment yesterday and was able to find a local vso who gave me the good news today. Great videos and appreciated the reply.

@@Carlos-vp2bm just keep filing. Keep a paper trail unless you're a geek in the scroll up down world. Paper the VA by fax then mail copy to your file. Highlight in yellow circle in red sharpie the corresponding points sequentially numbered and foot or headnoted in your narrative. Consider the I.Q. of the reader. Make it easy for them. They get x points per claim long or short. Raters get 25 new claims a day on top of their already backloaded files. End of the month they get gigged for unprocessed claims. Real easy to say denied ; next claim. Take away all their excuses for saying no. Paint them into the Yes ... Granted corner.

I was diagnosed at the VA hospital with PTSD and Depression I filed a PTSD claim and was never called in for a P.T.S.D. physical exam. visit just the one for the tinnitus.
