While many people will think this is a joke, or a meme, it is basically the truth. when Football was invented many people started playing it, and not everyone used the same rules, so a name had to be given to the original sport to separate it from the other versions. The name that was given was Soccer, and it was short for Association Football. There are still two other sports that are major and originated from the original Football. those games are Rugby and American Football.

Grade brackets depend on school district. Most places have it at 60% for the lowest passing grade, but I've heard of some places where it's set at 50%. On the 60% minimum system, every letter grade is 10 above 60, going from D to A, separated into thirds for plus, minus, or middle. Again, there is variation by school district.
