I lost my girlfriend in a car crash 4 months ago after we had our first baby boy. This was her favourite song. Listening to this now. The lyrics and everything about just kills me, and yet it gives me some sort of peace. Thankyou for this wonderful peace of art. 👏

I’m sitting in my room after having done nothing all summer, this song gives off the feeling of having wasted all that time, but it does also make me think that I didn’t put summer entirely to vein, I made some good friends and memories this summer, I just wish I could go out there and experience it, this song has a mix of melancholy and bittersweetness in it, it’s a perfect description of what this feeling is like

I feel like this is the kinda song you’ll come back to every now and then, it’ll appear somewhere, Spotify shuffle, radio, anywhere really. It’s songs like these where you either find peace or sadness. My brain can’t choose what. I guess that’s the weird feeling I get when I hear songs like these. But nostalgia always rushes through my brain, wanting to cry and smile for no reason, wondering where I went wrong and right. I think songs like these make me the most vulnerable mentally. Y’know?

I know this is dark but when I hear this song I think of myself years into the future on my death bed thinking about the memories i’ve made with the people I love surrounded by my future kids, longing to be reunited with my wife and slowly slip away. The slow drift of this song makes such a melancholy yet peaceful feeling it’s so hard to explain.

This song is really special to me. Not only because It reminds me of some people in my life, it reminds me of my issues. I have severe major depressive disorder, and the lyrics "I wish I could live without you, but you're, a part of me~" really reminds me of my depression and how I'll always have to deal with it

I regret somethings I've done where I hadn't called her in so long when she was just a little child and now she's in middle school, changed from the little little baby I used to know. Just try to call them and talk to them as much as you can because they'll appreciate it later in life to have you there

reminds me of this girl i met 6 or 7 years ago. 4 years ago we had started dating but it ended after two years, shes with someone else and ive been messing around with other girls, but whenever i listen to music like this, the stuff we used to listen to, and how simple things were cause we were younger, and how we were both just in love, and how it feels like we both just made the wrong decisions. Not only does this song hit you hard, but it genuinely makes you cry. Everytime. I swear, everytime I listen to this song I cry. You always wonder why things happen the way they do. Everything can be going so smoothly but then all it takes is a moment for it to take a sudden turn. And sometimes you don't know why, or the reason that caused it. Maybe you'll figure that out later on as time passes by. Maybe everything happens for a reason, and that reason will only show not in the present moment - but in the future.

since this song came out, ive listened to it atleast a million times. my number one song on spotify for two years. i can’t relate to the words, but the feeling when you’re listening to this with your beat up earbuds on the walk back home is unbeatable. this song got me through middle school. it’s the teenage girl prophecy, at any slight inconvenience one song is always there for you. for me it’s telephones. i love this song with my whole heart.

Just came back from their concert in Chicago and these guys are the best. The guitar, drums, and vocals was just astonishing, and when they start a song they don’t even look at each other they all just play on beat, that was super impressive. You guys rock! Covid just hit, got laid off, found me a new job at the local ingles. I took a major pay cut and was very worried about how I was going to pay all the bills. Thankfully this song came along and eased my mind. Thanks vacations for the wonderful music. Fast forward several years.. I now have a much better job on a farm and I found the love of my life. Funny how life throws you curve balls. Guess it’s all about how you handle it and rise from the ashes.

Im here to say, this song was my comfort song throughout the time of my first breakup which was in May (a day after my birthday too) i pretty much cried to this song everytime, and started to comfort myself with this song. I felt hella depressed and suicidal in that time span. Then i decided that ill change and improve myself for the better, and my own family. I exercise, make beats, and draw art because those are what i like to do. And in 2 months, i found a new girlfriend, and i started to become happier and started to realize that my self improvement worked. I feel better mentally, and physically. I am the hppiest ive ever been and its all cuz of me deciding to comfort myself with this song. My ex tried crawling back a month ago, only for me to reject her. She tried blowing shots to my music and saying rude stuff, but it only motivated me and now i make stuff for youtube and soundcloud. I am truly grateful for being given a second chance at life and actually striving for my own greatness.

I want to cry. At a random moment in my life, I start to feel a twinge of nostalgia because of some moment or song. It's the first time I've heard this song, but it's so pleasant and takes me back to a time when I didn't have any problems and I didn't even think about anything bad. you may think it's strange, but I have a couple of things that make me cry, either from happiness or sadness. they may mean nothing to me, but they give me comfort and create nostalgia.

This song takes me back to that time between the start of april and the first day of college. I lived out my senior year and graduated, went to prom with the woman i loved and just had a good day every day. I listened to Vacations pretty much every day so that’s probably why i feel this way. Every day was filled with sunshine and love, and it honestly felt like the last handful of months where i was truly still a kid. I hate saying i wish i could live it again because i am a very in the moment type of guy but man, i really wish i could go back

I listened to this the day my grandma died, I cried in bed as I looked at old photos of us together. She died after battling cancer for 3 years, she was so kind, caring and just sweet to people. i’ve had this on my playlist forever and never really took noticed, well once my grandpa started getting sick i would listen to music just to tune everything out and i just needed a song i could listen on repeat to with no interruptions nothing to happy or sad and so i chose this song listened to it on repeat before he died, when he died, after he died and now this song kinda ties this memory to me but overall it just makes me think of him and how i feel. it’s been almost a yr since he died and this song still comforts me when im sad, i don’t know.

This song hits so hard, sometimes I listen and think about myself and how I act, the person who I'm not and who I am. I can't let go of myself as much as I try (I can't really express my thoughts in words) when I listen I just remember that I can't let go of myself yet I'm still me it's hard to change "I wish I could live without you but your a part of me" I wish I could live without the kind of person I am, I wish I could live without feeling anxious all the time or worrying about being all alone in the end. But it's all a part of me in the end. I had the same thing with another girl I met her through my best friend in a game group we used to have we would all play different games together online we really didn't start talking till about a year later when nobody else was on and we would just regularly start playing games and talking online for a few months and we just clicked we had so many things in common and we would talk alot about a ton of different things we just felt so comfortable with each other eventually I started to fall for her and one day I decided to just confess I had never had the confidence or balls to do this with any other girl but I just decided to own up to it and tell her and it turned out she felt the same for a long time before I even started liking her she was the best thing that ever happened to me we just understood each other so well and were happy with each other she was a beautiful, smart, funny and chill girl who liked video games like me she was 1 in a billion and eventually I got the chance to finally meet up in person with her with the og friend group on the fourth of July to go to anime expo we had a great time it was one of the happiest days of my life we held hands and had our first kiss later that night she had lived in Idaho and I had lived in California so we were far from each other and we only had that one day and the next we would leave I had went home and we talked over the phone for a few days and I really messed up things with her parents from some false rumors that were spread she was so upset and my mom and her were on the phone and things did not go good my parents talked to hers and her family was completely against them they agreed that she would never be able to talk or play with me again me and her never had any problems I loved her so much and so did she it was The most perfect relationship I miss her everyday and i wish to god that I could have her back in my life that time I saw her was the first and last time I ever saw her she made me feel complete and I hope I can get her back someday there was no better girl for me out there I love you Aaliyah

This song really hurts to listen to. My ex introduced me to this song a couple of years ago when we first started talking and I fell in love with it. She shaped my music taste and made me enjoy music a lot more. After all that I broke up with her because I thought it was for the best but now I don't know anymore. Every time I listen to this song I think of her and how I broke her heart and every day I wish I could apologize to her. I hope shes doing well Update for anyone who wants it: I did end up speaking to her again and she was doing well. I apologized but unfortunately she got a new bf and we both decided it was better if we went our separate ways. Was nice to finally get some closure and I’m glad she’s doing better.

7 September, which was the last Student Council gathering with our lecturer, Miss and Sir who guided us for Student Council. This month, they mentioned that they won't be teaching at my college. That night, it's the last dinner, and how much they've impacted me and my student council mates. I've given my speech to both of them, and they loved it. We will be sad that they aren't teaching at my campus but the knowledge they've given us was a lot. It's the last time we acknowledge them as Lecturers Miss and Sir, but it won't be the last time we call them friends. Back to the song, I requested my friend to play this song going back home. And man it felt bittersweet. I wanted to cry but I turned off my sadness and whatever happens, it happens and you can't change that. All the memories between them and the team replayed in my mind. To miss and sir, if you read this, good luck to both of your futures.
