I enjoy your video. I am Hungarian, love my city a great place. Budapest is ranked a the second most beautiful city in the world and cheapest in Europe. Our transportation is excellent with the HEV, metro, streetcars and many others. Excellent restaurants, nightclubs, bistros and even casinos (las vegas). Love the Gellert Hills similar to the Hollywood Hills. and Rose Hill on the Buda side with big mansions.check out the Parliament and its surroundings. Hungary has excellent highways and the speed limit is only 130 km on the motorways. Tourist love Hungary

My Grandma and Grandpa were born in Budapest. My great aunt had 11 brothers and sisters that were from Budapest. Their father, Andras Pinter owned a flour mill along the Danube river. I am going there soon for the first time to walk in the same streets that my ancestors did. I am moved to tears thinking about going. They left for America under different circumstances, communists.

My grandparents were born in Krakow and Vienna, and also fled to the US, and created new lives, but what beautiful cities they left behind. I have to come and see these magnificant places too, like you say and feel emotional about walking the same streets they did. Its almost mind boggling to see the splendor they had to leave behind to make succesful lives in our US towns, where nowadays any of our cities you dont even want to go there.

6:03 if you turned left right after the Fatal restaurant and you’d walk to the end of that short street, the building on the right at the end featured as a safe house in the movies Underworld and Underworld Evolution. It’s the place where Michael jumps out of the top floor window onto the street to escape from the Lycans only to be kidnapped by the appearing reinforcements.

I am captivated by this beauty. My grandma and grandpa came from Budapest in the 1930's. I have the Ship Manifest of when they came through Ellis Island. Escaping the communist. My great grandfather and grandmother owned a flour mill on the Danube that was seized. I will go there next year and hope to walk in their footsteps.

@@annettejones1514 Something is fishy here , the Russians come to Hungary in 1945 just after that Hungary become communist country, so your grand parents could not escape from the communist in 1930's from Hungary.

Yes, Budapest is a beautiful city. I'm living here more than 50 years ago. But you're in a tourist trap in this video, the Váci utca. Very few people talking hungarian in this place, except the waitress. Nice fun-fair. You can't judge the USA after seeing Las Vegas, Wall Street in New York or Sepulveda Boulevard in LA. For me, the real America is in Wyoming, Maine and Texas - and the Arlington National Cemetery. Next time, if you want to see the real soul of my country try this places: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Szentendreen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debrecenen.wikipedia.org/wiki/K%C5%91szegen.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A9cs or my favourite ones: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orf%C5%B1 (every american from Wyoming, Idaho or Colorado or a british can make themselves comfortable here.)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%A1tra and of course, the diamond of the hungarian crown: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Balaton (sometimes a little bit too "European" and "multicultural" for my taste in greater towns). A country is not about a plastic zoo.

Interesting video, Tom. This street reminds me of Flinders Lane or Little Collins Street here in Melbourne Australia. Incidentally, as far as music is concerned, I think the copyright is more connected if an entire song is recorded uninterrupted. If a piece of music is recorded or if you talk over any song in the background, there doesn't seem to be as much concern.

Hey Tom. Nice video although some of your turns in stores is too fast. Be careful with the music video comments. You make assumptions. There is a music channel - several actually - that plays oldies and new music. That is likely what they have on in the stores and not KZfaq. People are conscious of copyright laws here too.
