Hello fellow modelers!
Thank you very much for watching my videos and for your feedback. Some of you have asked me about the box I use for vacuum-forming canopies. Today, I will show you how to make such a box by yourself. I will also demonstrate the process of creating a new canopy.

Hey... again. Very very good video again thanks a lot... again. One quick question: what kind of sanding bloc are you using? i have never seen those before. Cheers

Thank you all for your feedback. It is a plastic prism on which sandpaper is glued. I created the shape according to my ideas and experience.

Thank you very much for such clear explanation - I will use it with my card aircraft models. Really, thats what I looked for) The only question - what is the transparent material you use, I mean what is the "official" designation of this to search for in my local retailers? Thank you!

Parádní návod Pepo. Díky za něj. Třeba se konečně pokusím vyrobit nový překryt ke Směrácké SM-79. Ještě dotaz. Kde kupuješ tu folii?

Díky. Kamarád koupil velkou desku a rostříhal ji pro známé. Zjistím, kde ji před lety kupoval...

Honest question..doesn’t it produce a slightly bigger piece than the original??…does it maje any visible difference in the model??

You are correct and yes it is a noticeable difference in size

Yes, the new canopy is a drop of tenths bigger. It is not very visible with the open parts of the canopy. If you want an exact part, you have to make a mold based on the original canopy and then a new canopy based on this mold. But that's a bit more complicated. I will demonstrate sometime next time.

Díky. Jo jo, je to lepící guma, ale dříve jsem to vymazával i klasickou pastelínou.

This method only creates a larger copy... What you need to do is make a mold of the inside of the original part then add framing details and then you can vacuform the part to correct size
