Love theses. My second favorite Hoover canister besides the Dimension 1000. I really want the one with the electronic control powermatic.

I've always loved the Hoover Celebrity, it's a machine of my childhood as my aunty and uncle had one on their farm. However it does irk me that Hoover did us dirty in Europe. We only got four models between 1973 and the machine's discontinuation in early 1983. From memory we had: 2x S3005 (red and yellow), S3001 Deluxe, Celebrity Custom (which was brought over when the Hoover Factories went on strike in late 1974), then the final revision of S3005 in 1982 which was a standard S3005 but in a 1980s colour scheme and with a more deluxe floor tool. I'm missing S3001 from my collection unfortunately. In Europe we never got Celebrity II, Celebrity III, Celebrity IV, Quiet Series etc etc. Nor did we ever get a power nozzle. Damn you HOOVER! I do own a Celebrity II with PowerMatic that was shipped over from America in 2000.
