I am getting a bit confused with all the roborock models out there. A comparison video would be great to understand which one would be the best for bucks.

I recently got this machine, and I’m blown away! I was a Roomba i3 owner, and this Roborock absolutely blows it out of the water. The Roomba never could create a map of our house, I once let it run a mapping cycle for 4 hours, and it still couldn’t map our 2400 square foot house. Ridiculous! The Roborock mapped the house from start to finish in 20 minutes, and has been working fantastic ever since! No more having to replace batteries for the Roomba virtual walls! Also, the Roborock app is fantastic, so much you can do, and it mops! Also love the self empty base! Highly recommend.

What a great video! I like that you really take your time and test these things like a manufacturer would probably do.

Now that's a great housewarming gift! I may need to rethink my next robot vacuum and finally leave the roomba family....thanks for the video

I've been waiting for this review for a very long time but decided to buy it anyways a couple of weeks ago and am not disappointed. Everything you say is true and it is a very good robot vacuum. The only downside I'd like to add is that it will scratch up very easily (I've got the black version), especially on the right side, and mine already has some battle scars after some 30 runs.

Interesting that much better than an S7 Plus with the lifting mop. I also wish they kept a bagless option

I would love to meet the 1st person that came up with this invention ❤they should get a Nobel prize..it makes cleaning with pets and kids much easier.

No mention of noise levels. :( Could I suggest that for a video ... comparing robot noise levels ... it's one of my deciding factors after being able to do a decent clean.

I noticed Xiami, Dreame, Roborock They all look identical and carry pretty much the same specs. Are they all the same? Just with a different branding?

I bought this after my crappy Ecovacs T8 TruDetect broke. Roborock are the best no exceptions. I'm so happy with this vacuum even the mopping is brilliant.

Q7 max+ goes on big sales several times a year and can be had for ~550. This is currently the best vacuum money can buy that comes WITHOUT a camera to record your indoors / privacy. (Until they release S8 ultra which will lose a camera for an infrared sensor for obstacle detection)

It’s Prime week! So I pulled the trigger on purchasing the Roborock Q7 Max+. I got it for $499. This video was the reason I decided to purchase it. Thank you for your review. One thing I’m still confused about is whether or not I have to make manual adjustments when it’s time to mop. In other words, can I just tell it to vacuum the living room and kitchen then mop the kitchen. This is my first robovac so I’m not sure if I can just set it and forget it and have everything done at once. 😊

I have tried Eufy, Bob Slam, and (basic model) Roborock and the Robo truly does rock! :) I only with they still sold the basic model that cost a little over $150 and just did an excellent job of vacuuming.

I think a comparison between this and Dreamtech Bot Z10 Pro would be great. You rated both very highly so it would intersting to see the pros and cons comparatively. like for example Q7's mopping seems better but lacks obstacle avoidance

Roborock vs. Ecovacs Debot [insert long name here] Omni is no comparison in real-world tests. In my home, where both live (but not for long), the Ecovacs gets stuck way more often than the Roborock. And that it can't clean both carpets and hard flooring - in fact, it can't even cross carpet with the mop in place. And unless Roomba has made big strides in navigation from the I series to the J series, it's a no contest there as well.

The main question that wasn't asked in this video, how do you defeat an army of these things trying to erase you? How can we survive with all these Vaccum Wars?

When will a non shark company provide a bagless auto empty bin? Washable filters are far more convenient.

How would you compare this to s7+

If you’re running out of ideas for videos could you start doing power tool vac, the brand I have are Ryobi, makita, metabo. They have shop vacs, stick vacs, ack pack vac, dust collectors, robot vacs. They have a wide range of vacs

What keeps me on the fence for a robot vacuum are the thresholds (I believe they are called) on the floor on any door, that are very very popular in Scandinavia, especially on rental apartments. I don't know if the robot would be able to move from a room to another without getting stuck or recognize the threshold as something it needs to avoid.

Would you be able to mention the price at the time of review in your videos? I think it would help put into context your thoughts on the price being good or bad as the price for a viewer may be very different to your price at review (due to regional pricing, sales, or just the price going up or down). the separate roomba mops seem out of date these days. Will you do a head to head with the j7+ mop combo?

Bought this yesterday for ~500$. So far very good, had Roborock 5 max before and it always got stuck

Any issues with black floors or mats? Some Amazon reviews are noting that the Q series sees their black floor mats as a cliff and won't go over them.

Where’s the s8?

I've been using it for about 6 months now, and the only downside for me is that it doesn't pick up long hairs from the carpet.

This Q7 Max+ is on Sale on Roborocks and Amazon's websites from nearly $900 to $479 and I just picked one up!

Can the machine self clean the dirty mops?

Is It really necessary to remove the mopping pad when vacuuming carpets? And does it go on and vacuum carpets with the mop on or does it notify the user that "remove mop" or something similar? And hair tangle is also a big thing for me as I have a golden retriever :)

Deep cleaning results seem strangely good for the power and brush design it has. Another channel I follow found that deep cleaning results are not as good as S7 MaxV (not even comparable), whereas it performed better here. This got me confused

Hey mr. Vacuum Wars! What do you think about upgrading S5 max to Q7? I was thinking about S7 maxV, but I dont really like that it can see everything + I dont really got socks and wires just lying around, I got pretty clean floors, only big hard obstacles like chairs, tables and so on. I like vibration mop on S7 variants. In terms of pricing for me its about $170 difference which is not a lot considering we talking about $600 vs 770. On one hand feels like I should not be so paranoid, take maxV and hope it will serve me as good as my S5 max did. On the other hand $170 is still $170, just vibrating mop cant worth it and in my case it feels like its the main difference, as I said I dont need advanced obstacle avoidance, S5 Max navigates perfectly in my house. Hate when I have to choose, they shouldve made them $250-300 difference, would be much easier choice for me :) $170 is just a weird number. Or perhaps I should look at S8 instead... since its fresh and all.

Can this be used for vacuuming only without the mop pad?

I heard that it's very loud in the turbo mode is it true? They said the robot uses this mode for carpet cleaning

how is this one with pet hair? And what would be your choice for that? To give a little bit more context, i have like ~72m2 apartment (775 sq ft if conversion is well), mostly is hard floors, and I have one rug that re like 6-7mm high. I need robot to vacuum my dog hair, and if it can do basic mopping that is great. Basic auto empty feature, noting fancy like washing and drying pads is required. I am very undecided in between buying this roborock (being 50% off on Amazon), or the brava m6 that costs the same, I already have a roomba 860, but I want to upgrade it or buy a mopping robot and I don't know which is best option for me, I could also buy the roomba j7+ for a little more, but it wouldn't have the mop, what do you recommend? Is this roborock really worth it? Does it clean better than the brava m6?

I just got one a couple of days ago on amazon with 50% discount after seeing ur review, i think i did already 2 runs on one of my floors, 100% happy with it, im just concerned about the battery lifespan, as it does around 70-75m2 of cleaning taking the battery around 75-78%, finishing and going back to the dockbase, my concern here its that it starts inmediately charging when it arrives to the dock instead of waiting idk e.g when being at 20-25% battery, could this affect my battery lifespan on a long range ? or its perfectly normal ??? thanks in advance and great video.

How does the Roborock Q7 Max+ compare to the Dreame Z10 pro? Where I live, I can get the Roborock Q7 cheaper than the Dreame Z10, but if the Dreame Z10 is better, then I would rather wait for it. But if the difference are close to nothing, or so small that it doesn't matter, then I will but the Roborock Q7.

Great and all but i purchased de Roborock S5 max couple yrs ago and within the warranty period (+- 1year and 8 monts) he started acting up... Send it back and got my money back... After that i purchased the Roborock s7 max V plus in August 2022 wel this one lasted 7 months and its currently on its way to the manufacturer...not so happy 😒

My carpet has a spot where it lifts up about half an inch in one section and is about a quarter of an inch wide and runs across the entire living room carpet… will this vacuum be able to make it over a small bump? If anyone knows I would appreciate it and thank you in advance.
