@d a r l i n g J o it’s important to note that the retcon does not affect any of the Jedi actively killing clones because not a single one knows that they have chips in their heads. The only Jedi who heard of the chips was Anakin, Mace taking revenge for what the Clones did to him is understandable from his point of view but we as the audience know it’s not the clones fault. It’s a tragedy all the way thru, generals being betrayed by their soldiers who were “brainwashed” into committing mass murder on their friends and allies.

It was a great idea to see how a Jedi fights ( and a master one to remind you ) from the eyes of a normal trooper. I wish there would be more scenes like that in canon films, which can show us the true might of a Jedi

This is great. I, personally, would love to see Windu return. I believe that if he survived the fall, it would have been through his own tenacity and rage at being betrayed, and that he knew he would have to change if he were to continue to survive much less do anything about things going forward. Mace has always been headstrong.

We didn’t get enough Mace Windu. I would love to see more of him, the only complication is we can assume he is dead by the time of the original trilogy and I feel it would be difficult to give him a proper send off. His supposed death in revenge of the sith preserves how much of a badass he was. I don’t realistically see him losing to Vader if he was to come back.

He had his guard down from this and got point blank electrocution and then was yeeted out a window all the while probably still disoriented from everything-he should realistically be dead…

I mean rather than provide a new youngling with hope for his own future he broke him down mentally for a first introduction and shattered his dreams to become a jedi. Anakin soldiered on ignoring their depravity and witnessed the chaos that still reigned despite the jedi council's efforts. Sloth followed by idiocy, anakin loses his mother and they did nothing about it because they were so busy with their war to sense the legitimacy of anakin's concerns for his mother and so she died. Later anakin's true goal was at first to simply keep what he had, padme and when he lost her it was about removing sloth and idiocy and chaos from the galaxy entirely. But mace was still hooked on hanging anakin on every thread of his trespasses and failures since he was 9.

@@dn_onfire You have to acknowledge Obi-Wan has a crucial impact on Anakin's change as well. He wasn't ready to become a Master after the death of Qui Jon Jinn, but it was Qui Jon Jinn's wish for Anakin to be trained and made Obi Wan feel obligated to train the young boy himself. This led to more emotional outbursts from Anakin since he believed that Obi Wan is holding him back and how much Obi Wan looked down upon Anakin in a negative manner seen throughout Attack of the Clones. Obi Wan cared for Anakin, but he made a lot of mistakes that would make Anakin become the way he is.

@@Damodred_Heiress Obi-Wan still trusted anakin, unlike Mace who always outwardly disliked and distrusted him. If Mace had allowed Anakin to become a Jedi Master, Anakin would have begun to trust the council more and make the right choice when it came to arresting the chancellor.

Really nice style. One thing I wish we got more of was the surviving jedi constantly being hunted down and killed. What was left of the clones would hunt them, with Vader turning up to finish the job making it look easy. I like the idea of Mace Windu surviving but he should be missing a hand. Love the idea of temple remains. Hidden chambers. A real fear dark tone. Love the tone of all this. Good job.

Yeah it was, but why did Mace toy with the last guy? Seems kind of pointless. 1:39... He waited almost 30 seconds to take down the last one....? Why? Ruins the whole clip imo.... Also could have had little more action showcasing Mace instead of cheap flashes. visual quality is top notch though.

Unpopular theory: I would have preferred Mace Windu show up to get Grogu in The Mandalorian, although he wasn't alone, he had found a force sensitive student to take as his secret apprentice padawan after order 66, who turns out, happens to be Palpatine's daughter or son, perfect for training to be a Grey Jedi of sorts, like Mace, given Grogu's force choke ability and consequent connection to the dark side, Mace, or a master student of Mace would be perfect to train a conflicted Grogu. Thoughts?

@@Kronosfobi Not just that but also set up a final showdown between Boba and Mace in his New series, where, following Star Wars tradition, Mace becomes a force ghost during battle, not killing Boba but also denying him his final revenge or sorts. But then, without the wisdom of Mace to guide his student and Grogu, they are found by the remnants of Palpatine's secret order set up to track down his long lost heir, which would then somehow tie in to Rey being abandoned on Jakku and Grogu not appearing in the sequels, perhaps it was Grogu who convinced his master to hide Rey while they attempt to wipe out the pursuing remnants, although they fail and capture of Palp's child is the catalyst which brings Palps back, his secret to immortality and why he wanted Rey to smite him at the end of the sequels...?

I think it was purposely made that way. Just like the cinematic trailers. I actually prefer this to live action because there's a certain level of intensity, speed, etc that isn't possible with live action.
