Fun fact: The comedian actually broke his leg in an accident before the film and opted out as he cudnt walk normally. Tye director didnt want to loose him. So he added that fight scene where he is beaten up, and walks abnormally for the rest of the film. It became so iconic, that in the directors next film 'giri' the comedian explains how he got beaten up ( refering to this scene) which is another iconic comedy.

To be brutally honest, even I find these scenes slightly uncomfortable sometimes😂, as a native Tamil speaker who lives in Tamilnadu. So can't blame you. But that's the point.
