I'm crying while watching this video, it's so helpful to purify our souls and bodies of burden blocks (stress, pain, disappointment) . I pray to the Almighty to be with all women and support them to have natural births (especially after cesarean sections) and healthy babies. Ameen

Thank you very much. I had 2 c- sections for " stupid" reasons. Originally I and my babies in the womb were healthy, with head down, ..., but conditions were against our natural birth as in household ( heavy long travelling in late pregnancy, 35 weeks - a flights forced by life, deep tiredness as a result), as psychological aspects (a pressure in last weeks of pregnancy without real**reasons). Now I'm preparing myself as I can for a natural birth without medical interventions. The right Knowledges are big power plus qualitative relaxation. May God helps me and another women with similar situations to have a natural birth experience without medical interventions.

I love that this video wasn't anti-modern medicine, unlike many conversations on this topic. You focused very much on risks/benefits, and how to maximize chances. Hoping for a VBAC for my second birth!

Unbelievably helpful! I’ve been researching all day for info and stories on Vbac after 2CS. I appreciate all this info. My friend had already given me info on a pro VBAC doc so I believe this is the plan. I prayed to God if he wanted me to have another baby it would happen. It was a prayer for (in my will) further down the road but I was pregnant weeks later! He’s got me and our baby. 😊

This video has really motivated me to get a VBAC. Although my main gynaec is not very comfortable with a VBAC. The hospital that I have enrolled with has a gynaec who supports VBAC. She actually gave me confidence that I can go ahead with a VBAC.

Wow what a great video! With my last baby number 5 I was TOLAC. My first was a vaginal birth. 2nd cesarean because baby was breech. 3rd was VBAC. 4th was VBAC. I didn't do anything to prepare for baby 5 but pray and try to enjoy to the very end and I figured it would go smoothly because I already had 2 VBACs. Boy was I wrong. I went 41 weeks and no water in my sac trying to wait for this baby. I did everything except that labor drink to put myself in labor and my body would just not contract. I also didn't walk as much through pregnancy I don't know if that had something to do with it. I was devastated when my induction failed and thought maybe I should just do C-section. Even though I already had vaginal births, I still felt very very sad that she didn't come that way. At this time I had 4 toddlers and I thought how I'm I going to get through the healing process because my husband couldn't take much time off. But praise YHWH that He got me through it all. I think I didn't do enough to prepare myself. I also absolutely hate the epidurals just side note. And now I am pregnant with baby number 6, we are praying for a boy. I feel soo sooo soooooo nervous about labor and delivery. I don't want to do cesarean and I'm scared for some reason thinking of TOLAC. But I Praise Yah that He is with us. Thank you for the story.

You have no idea how much this video blessed me! You put mind at ease ! I’ve had 2 natural and 2 c section. Currently 38 weeks now and my doctors are pushing for a c section. What stood out to me most was your prayer and choice not talk about it to others. I made the decision to do vbac but so many family and friends keep saying follow the instructions of the doctor. My current ob has never had a c section so I don’t think she understands me.

Thank you for telling your story. When I was going through my pregnancies and the responses I would get when I said I was attempting and vaginal delivery after a C-Section was so discouraging. I shared one video on my channel about the experience with my son in 2020 but I will share more about my experiences with prior pregnancies because I think all these stories will help and encourage. Thanks again and congratulations on your healthy baby!

Wow, thank you for this video. I have two sets of twins and first pregnancy baby a was head down, so vaginal birth, then baby a breach, which led to emergent section. 2nd pregnancy babies were the same, so dr said He didnt wanna put me through 2 deliveries again.. well i am about 14w pregnant in my 3rd pregnancy 5th baby, God is giving me an opportunity to experience 1 baby and my dr doesnt do vbacs, but i feel it is Gods will for it to happen and allow to experience everything a natural birth gives. And when you said you prayed and it was very faith based, I cried and knew God led me to this video to use you to speak to me, So thank you for this !! I

Wow this was so helpful! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I had similar experience although mine was that I had a natural birth with my 1st child then followed by two c-section. First C-S 2nd child I wanted natural birth but my child became to stressed during labour and heart rate was dropping so I ended up in emergency c-section. 3rd child went to the hospital due to some pain I was having, big mistake. I should have tried to manage at home before running to the hospital. Ended being admitted, I was given medication, which sent me into labour, I was 36weeks at that time. This time I was adamant about wanting a natural birth. My dr was away on vacation so I had another dr who to care of things. He advised against natural birth due to my previous c-section. I was forced to make a decision quickly as my child heart rate kept dropping. Ended with 2nd c-section. 8yrs later now preparing for baby #4 this video gave me hope of natural birth. I know I will have a natural birth again. I can feel it and see it happening. Preparing myself both physically and mentally.

I am crying while watching. I felt like I was listening to my own birth experience for both of my children. There was a lot of intervention with both children. I was induced with my first born & my body just didn't dilate enough quickly. Labor was far too long & his head got stuck in the birth canal, it was cone shaped at birth. My second I feel like I was scared into an early induction at 37 weeks which eventually led to the c section that the hospital doctors was pushing me... I was sooo broken hearted and depressed at having double c sections. I felt cheated out of birthing my babies and the entire experience. I'm praying and hoping that if start doing things right this time around I will be able to have a vbac & get the true experience of bringing my child into this world.

I am here crying so much! So happy you got to experience vaginal birth. I was told to only have csection after my second because I had an infection with both. Someone in a group told me that was from all the cervical checks but I’m not sure. My first the infection was coming out of my wound and second the infection was coming out vaginally. God promised more children for me but I am terrified I do not want another caesarean 😭. I still cry til this day because what I went through but so blessed to be here and with my babies. Reasons for csection was failed induction both times and reason for induction was iugr with both my children. I still hope to one day experience a vaginal birth.

Thank you for encouraging Mommas to do VBACs. Lots of times Healthcare Providers are not encouraging that they just want you to have a C-Section and get it over with. I had an emergency c-section for my 1st boy, and my second c-section was planned. Now that you have shared your experience and tips you made me more comfortable to do a VBAC in the future for my 3rd children. Please continue to advocate for Women's health especially when topics like VBAC are not really discussed with Healthcare Providers. Remember C-Sections make more money than Vaginal births so Healthcare Providers always encourage Mothers to do go that route. Healthcare Providers do not encourage Mommas on a safer birthing plan like VBAC because it is a cheaper route.
@PregnancyBirthParenting101

Thank you for your kind words and I hope you get the beautiful VBAC you want. Unfortunately those bad apple providers give the rest of them a bad rep. I know many supportive providers who are very encouraging and for those that don't necessarily recommend it, they still support you're decision. Then of course sometimes you have an entire practice of doctors that won't even do a tolac after only one c-section! Which is in direct conflict of what the research says.

Thank you for this. God just blessed me with my third pregnancy. (Literally, I’ve practiced FAM for 9 years and have never ovulated closer than 2 weeks from the end of my period and I ovulated the next day, right after sex.) I unexpectedly transferred from a birthing center to hospital, ending in c-sections with both boys. The first was HELLP syndrome with pre-eclampsia and the second was 4 days of labor, 4 hours of pushing at birthing center, and 7 hours of pushing with an epidural at the hospital (the epidural made his heart rate drop). My second son’s head was compacted in my pelvis, so the doctor had to make a secondary downward cut on my uterus to get him out, and the doctor tried to say he was too big for my pelvis (his head was 100%) and I have believed that for 3 years. Well, it turns out his head was actually at the exit point and could be seen for about 8 hours of the pushing phase, so he made it past my pelvis. My husband also watched as the doctor spent about 5 minutes cutting away scar tissue before stitching me up and a c-section recovery specialist found scar tissue adhesions on basically all of my organs and expanded throughout my abdomen. She managed to break several of them apart and fix the bladder prolapse the adhesion attached to it caused. I’m trying for a VBA2C but it’s a completely different plan. My midwife isn’t available during my birth month, so I will wait for active labor and my husband, therapist/doula, and I will go to my chosen hospital. I haven’t decided if I want to choose a doctor before the transfer or go in ER style. I’m also trying to prepare for a c-section, since the two different types of anesthesia didn’t work during the surgeries. My biggest fear is that my anxiety of the surgery will cause my hypnosis not to work and I will feel 100% of the surgery. My goal is to allow the baby to get the benefit of labor and pushing (helps with breathing and vaginal bacteria helps with gut health) and see how I’m progressing. I don’t want to experience another freak out transfer or unexpected c-section. I’m trying to put my trust in God For this and remember I made it through the other c-sections and have knowledge of my pitocin allergy and other interventions I can not comply with. I kinda wish God would just tell me if I will have a c-section or vaginal birth but I’ve got no answer. He has told me so many other aspects about this pregnancy and my birth team plan, but this is the part I always get the “you must have faith” answer. I did get an answer of “No, don’t fear. I will take care of you and your children.” from Exodus. So, I’m trying to hold onto that.

Curious to know what happened ? What kind of delivery did you have in the end?
@kristadavis2825
@kristadavis2825 6 ай бұрын
@ nosaibasfood It was amazing! So, God led me to a doctor that worked at a specific hospital when I was almost 30 weeks pregnant because my week of blood sugar tests showed I had gestational diabetes. This was the only provider willing to take me and 100% understanding of me wanting a VBA2C due to my excessive scaring and anesthesia not working. She was located 2 hours away. Due to my history we expected me to go into labor around 35-37 weeks. I did go into prodromal labor then and stayed in that stage and at 5 cm dilated for 4 weeks. The doctor and I both agreed not to risk forcing anything. I was basically in my second birth’s active labor of contractions every 2-3 minutes that entire time but my entire birth team agreed my body needed proper alignment for anything to work. I saw a chiropractor that specialized in pregnancy every week, a scar tissue and womb specialist that removed all adhesions and allowed my left side to actually expand and broke the scar blockage on my right side that even my husband could feel by touching my stomach, a pelvic floor therapist that did a ton of work vaginally and rectally due to a rotated tailbone and messed up muscles, and my birth doula did my PTSD therapy to release triggers. I had so many people praying for me. Well, my doctor and entire team, except doula, went on Christmas vacation (non of them were expecting me to last 4 weeks in labor). I woke up on December 22, 2022 at 12:30 in a transition, an intensity I have never felt. I was stuck on the toilet for about an hour with contractions every minute emptying myself with only about 30 seconds of rest. I screamed for help with everyone sleeping through it. I finally managed to get my husband and told him to call everyone. He tried to get me back in bed thinking labor would slow or stop like it had done every day that month. Nope, I was literally punching walls. He called the closest family to watch our boys since my aunt wouldn’t be there for 30 minutes. We managed to get me up in the truck when my water broke so hard I was launched into the back seat (I was facing it to keep my belly hanging since 2nd baby flipped face up during the ride to the hospital last time). I got whiplash from the intensity but didn’t realize it until after the adrenaline wore off (my chiropractor easily fixed my neck). As soon as the water broke (which was one big gush and not the repeated trickle I was warned about) the pain went away. The contractions were still one on top of another but not painful. Hubby ran in for towels then hit the gas. He was going so fast because it was a freeze and no cars on the highway he topped out the speedometer trying to keep in front of the ice storm. Well, 5 minutes down the road I yelled for him to stop. He managed to pull off on a tank farm road where the state occasionally parks equipment close to the highway. In the process he some how called 911 at the same time I managed to flip over with my right leg on the seat and left leg on the floor and pull my diaper off (FYI, it cannot hold that much liquid). The baby’s head popped out and then his body slid out onto the seat and into hubby’s arms. He had his left arm up like Superman. He was born at 2:39AM without any pain or help from me. Literally felt like a bubble going through my body. I had prayed for no stitches and I didn’t get any. My swelling was so bad that 4 people missed my small tear from his knuckles but it healed on its own beautiful. It took 20 more minutes for the ambulance to get there due to the ice. Baby was doing great but my FIL had to get on the phone to tell the staff to take me to the hospital of my choice (he trained them). Thankfully, God led us to that hospital because 12 hours later baby needed NICU for breathing issues . Doctors couldn’t figure out what was going on and he still had difficulty when we brought him home on Christmas Day but a friend recommended a homeopathic specialist who had him better in days of treatment. The hospital was also a blessing because they gave me free care since they basically did nothing for me and being cash pay only had to pay a portion of the baby’s hospital fee, except the specialists who we had a discounted payment plan with. The doctor actually made sure we knew to prepare for all this when we first met her so that we could have the benefits cash pay comes with in the 10 day window you get and since she was on vacation, but technically made all choices for my care she didn’t charge me a doctor’s fee. So, everything I prayed for was answered, even the sign of my water breaking at home meaning I would have a vaginal birth, we just weren’t expecting the truck.

Thank you so much for sharing 🥰 I'm having my 2nd baby my daughter will be 3 this year & I'm looking forward to have natural birth after such a traumatic 1st experience with my daughter. I was in a bad situation so much stress & I'm just thankful we both came out healthy. I did not realize there were risks having natural birth after a c section until my doctor mentioned it. But I am determined to do everything I can to have a natural delivery with my baby I'm 2 months due in November & your story has given me hope that it is possible & just need the right people around you and the support to get through it. Happy mothers day to all the beautiful women here & I've realized the strength of a woman going through the 2nd time of pregnancy I'm educating myself more of our bodies and what it is capable of doing. I’ve had two C-sections. First one being an emergency. I had a bad infection of my uterus afterwards. I’m pregnant with my third and would love to do a vbac2. A little nervous about it. The first birthing experience was trauma. My baby was sunny side up, I was 10cm dilated and she wouldn’t come out. She was also over 8lbs. This baby I’m pregnant with is expected to be 9 lbs. I really pray this vbac is a possibility for me. Plus im 35. They make me out to be high risk.

You're experience is the one you're supposed to have, but I had complications during my first labor and delivery where my body was in a hypermetabolic state and metabolizing the medication rapidly, so I frequently had break through pain. Definitely not an experience I would wish in anyone and it's incredibly rare. Also, most anesthesiologists will put you under general anesthesia (put you to sleep) if you're experiencing any problems.

🤩 This was awesome and EXTREMELY encouraging! My family and I just moved to the Raleigh area in North Carolina. We just found out we're expecting our 3rd baby. Our 1st two were c-sections--and I honestly believe that that was the doctor's choice as I went into labor with both my babies. Do you have any suggestions on how to find supportive doctors online? My husband and I both want to try for a trial of labor. That would be such a blessing!

I would call the hospital where you are delivering, ask to speak to the charge nurse then ask her what doctors does she know that are supportive of VBACs. They're the best resource because they work with all the doctors and see the way they practice and provide care for their patients. If they're busy then try calling at another time. Shift change is around 7, so don't call between 6-8. Pm or am.

You are so welcome! I used nitrous oxide and got in the tub for a while, but then got the epidural around 7cm. It was the right choice for me. I wanted to enjoy and be present for my birth experience and I found at that point I really wasn’t able to do that and I was really struggling coping with the contractions. I was also utterly exhausted and it allowed me to get a good nap in before time to push. I had them do a low rate, so it took my contraction pain away for the most part, but still allowed me to feel that I was contracting and allllllll the pressure sensations lol.

@PregnancyBirthParenting101
@PregnancyBirthParenting101 2 жыл бұрын
A vertical incision carries a significantly higher risk of uterine rupture (where your uterus pops open at the old scar and baby, fluid and blood poor into your abdomen.. this requires an emergency c-section to save both you and your baby). I don’t mean to scare you, but for instance someone with a horizontal incision has less than a 0.5% chance of rupturing their uterus, but someone with a vertical incision has upwards of a 9% chance. That’s statistically significant compared to someone with a transverse (horizontal) incision.

girl, prayer! Lol JK I followed everything that I needed to do on the spooning babies website. www.spinningbabies.com/alternative-to-induction/ Having the baby in the right position, definitely helps your body to naturally go into labor. I was in labor off and on for over 24 hours during the early part of labor. meaning, I would wake up in the middle of the night and have mild to moderate contractions for a few hours and then they would slow down and go away and I would go back to sleep. When I went to see my midwife again after this, I had dilated more than the week before. ultimately, I was exhausted and went in when I was 4 cm dilated and they broke my water. It was 12 hours until birth after that. 11 of labor 1 of pushing and 8 out of the 12 with a glorious epidural! 😂
