Guys, you need subtitles. 😆 The film is an excellent black comedy. Its dialogues were written by KH and the legendary late Crazy Mohan. It has an insane amount of word play in Tamizh as well as 3 other South Indian languages (Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam). It has a cult status among Tamizh fans, with people able to recite dialogues from memory by scene. Other KH films that you might like are Michael Madana Kamaraj, Pammal K Sambandham, and Uttama Villain.

The best comedy movie I've ever seen after Michael Madana Kamarajan. Dialogues written by the late great Crazy Mohan were the highlight of this movie. I doubt if English subtitles for the movie will do justice (if you plan to watch this movie).

U may watch this movie. Certain comedies may not land due to linguistic word play. Otherwise, the story plot is universal and easily digestible for all audience. Leaving out the word puns, there are also many situational and slap stick comedies. So u may go for it. Just be informed that certain comedies u may not receive as a native tamil speaker.

A weirdly funny movie. Have a feeling you might not get most of the jokes in the movie because of the language related jokes. Which makes 70% of the jokes in this movie.
