I think the main reason why their memes are unfunny are because the can’t mention anything copyrighted, that they don’t own, and they also have to be as PC and inoffensive as they possibly can to avoid lawsuits. It’s probably also because they have to put in the brand and can’t avoid that part of it. Maybe also because they’re not edgy teenagers/young adults like most memers are.
