Hey everybody. I'm the Sr. Designer of Big Fat Awesome House Party and I can't tell you how thrilled I am to read this. It was designed and implemented by the awesome Powerful Robot Games team (which was based in Uruguay) and Cartoon Network. A lot of really talented people worked on this game and put a lot of effort and love into it. Your comments and fond memories mean the world to me and the rest of the team. Cartoon Network is the owner of this game and it's up to them to decide to put it back online (which may not be as simple as it sounds). I'd love to see that happen and I would help doing it, but it's really up to them. Thanks for your memories and I'm glad we could contribute to so many good childhood memories

You can recover the game and I know a couple guys that could probably get it running again. They are busy running Star Wars galaxies now but I think they can get this game running again.

Me too, man. Me too. It was one of my childhood favorites and I watched back in like summer '08. I wish it could come back the same way Samurai Jack did with the original creators and voice cast. :-)

I actually do remember a lot about this game, I remember the blue citizenship meter, once filled up, would allow you to go on "quests" for what was essentially the game's equivalent to story content. I think there was a different quest every single week, and completing them would get an exclusive picture for your scrapbook. I forget what the green meter, filled up from doing favors, did though. I must have missed a lot of content during the game's run, because I don't remember there ever being other accessible areas besides Foster's. I really hope someone does actually remake the game, my brother and I used to spend hours on this game wandering around and doing nothing, even after our daily favors in the game had been completed.

Yeah, I remember dropping off the game around 2007 or when the show originally went off the air (before Destination Imagination and the final 5 episodes), I didn't know it actually lasted until 2009

The green meter let you play the video games in the Arcade. When I was little I would work on both meters at the same time and save one until I filled the other so I could do the Quest and the Arcade back-to-back.

I think that you could go to the mall and to Mac's house and one or two other places IIRC. Man I loved that game. I had just earned my own room and started winning stuff to furnish it with when the game was shut down. I'd actually BUY it if anyone was willing to re-make it.

So I started a restoration project outside of the conventional swf saves and ideas I've heard before. I have images and scripts of the entire map, I have videos used for the basis of extracting basic animations, and I have tons of swf for menu purposes. (Even the interactive bloo where you can poke him and stuff) my idea is to recreate the entire BFAHP map with basic animations just to explore in (real time multiplayer is planned) and hope by that I get enough nostalgic inspiration and attention from other players to get other modelers, texturers, animators, mappers, scripters, and more on board. I do not believe we can ever fully restore this game with the show ending in 2009 and rights being pulled I do not believe CN has the files hidden in a database somewhere. Do to copyright the law requires shredding. (Not to kill the potential and dream) yet I believe with enough passionate and competent people on the team we can backwards engineer something as close as we possibly can to what it once was. BTW CN if your reading this I want no money and and a cease and desist order will lead you to a brick wall.

Oh! I remember everything about Big Fat Awesome House Party! I remember you got to create your own imaginary friend, you got passports to go to random places, you got to help characters like the imaginary dogs and berry, if you found something you would unlock a minigame from Mac's chest in his apartment, that was some good shit. Edit: Just remembered I never got to Easter Egg Island :(

@@krum1987 This is sad. I never got to play BFAHP, In fact, I only found out about this game recently, searching for Best. Game. Ever, game from the same studio that was unexpectedly recovered. Anyway, let's hope we are lucky that, somehow, this game is recovered someday. :D

I'd really love to play this again, I remember spending hours daily just wandering around doing nothing when I was like 8, I used to imagine little stories as If I were being chased by another imaginary friend and I had to hide or as if I were a new friend just exploring the surroundings. I never knew what the actual objective was so I don't remember completing any quests nor going out of foster's home ;^;

Oh man, I used to play this game all the time as a kid. I remembered when Cartoon Network had an event where, at certain times, a code would be displayed where you can redeem it for exclusive furniture. I still remember those codes too: they were egglet and caveman. Man, those were the days!

Redness77 yes except for club penguin it was easy, everyone knew club penguin was gonna be taken down so somebody was smart enough to copy the game and all its codes and everything which is very complicated, while the game was still up, it is very hard to do that if the game is not up because you can’t copy the codes and such

I loved the show which encouraged me make my own imaginary friends, which I still have today at the age 19. However I remember playing the game but it was really hard for me to do the quest because I kept getting lost in the game. I wish that they could add a map of the house in addition to remaking the game so you won't get lost or maybe some kind of guide on how to complete the game.

The problem with BFAHP was it was only advertised in the United States and its not a worldwide game. Im from PHILIPPINES and good thing I only found out this game when i was exploring cartoon network websites from USA and accidentally discovered this game when i was exploring fosters home minisite in CN website back in 2008. I was lucky to play this game when it was still around back then. CN made a mistake of removing this popular shockwave game and they didn’t announced it properly when it was goin to end once and for all so i never had a chance to screenshots my highlights of the game for souvenir. Good thing this game is being revived thanks to Bluemaxima Flashpoint staffs. I salute to them for doin this. ✌️✌️✌️ now i can play this game and feel like a kid-teen once again. I freaking love being nostalgic these days. 🤘🏽

@@ImMakEiTNasty if you have an old computer that has a link of the game saved on it, it can be revived. I know because I've seen the new game play footage by said KZfaqr, I too have the file saved. Bluemaxima's Flashpoint themselves said they will release it later in the year.

Oh my god! I USED TO LOVE THIS GAME! I remember getting home from school and turning my PC on just to play this game, though I never really understood what's happening because I didn't know english at that time. But I still loved it! I remember when one day I wanted to log on and just couldn't find the game ANYWHERE. I tried searching it for a few days. Since I didn't know english, I didn't know the name of the game, it's just something I clicked on the cartoon network site, so I was searching for something I didn't even know the name of, but something I played for hours and hours! After a few weeks I came to the conclusion that maybe all this was a dream and that the game never existed. Untill now, I always thought that. HOW CRAZY IT IS THAT AFTER 8 YEARS OF THINKING THAT MY FAV GAME WAS JUST A DREAM, IT TURNS OUT THAT IT ACTUALLY HAPPENED! This is amazing! Thank you Vailskibum for showing this!!! Now I really want to help to get the game back online!

FusionFall has returned! Some devs came together and created a replica of the classic one. If FusionFall can come back, then there's no doubt this game can too. We just have to find people who are willing to bring it back.

Omg 😭 I use to play the absolute heck out of this game during library time in middle school. I remember the day seeing that pop up telling me the party was over. It broke my little heart because i was never able to finish the game!😭
