that black piece is the attenna for the radio. there should be a hole in the top of the radio for it.

Looks great but I find the box is too big for what you get. Something like that should have everything in a clamshell instead of bags if they want to go with a box like that. I find they make the best army builders out there and the best accessory kits too.

The sidearm is a FN509, and the long black piece is indeed an antenna. Hot water is your friend in closing the vest on a Action Force figure. Put the hole side of the vest in some hot water for 30-45 seconds before you place it on your figure, then insert the pegs, top one first. You can also dunk the backpack in hot water for the same amount of time to make it easier to pull apart. Good review!

Love the fact that they didn't get lazy and just do it all in white for their artic line. Haven't picked up any of these guys yet but I might just have to.

How do you get the belt around his waist? It looks like one solid piece and it wont slide up his legs. Do you have to pull apart the figure?

Yes grab around stomach and pull up off the peg. They are solid so don’t worry
