Perlin noise is good, but it has a directional artifact due to the grid(square) construction. In 2001, Ken Perlin created a better algorithm called Simplex Noise, which is computational less complex, has no directional artifacts, and scales better to higher dimensions. The copyright on the technique ended in 2022. There is no reason to use the classical Perlin Noise anymore.

Perlin Noise: 1. Create a grid of some size. 2. At each vertex, generate a random vector. 3. For each pixel, average the four nearest vertex vectors(the four vertexs of the square that pixel is in)[For a smooth gradient, you would need to distance weight the average, ie "Lerp"]. He talks about an extra step of coloring them red or green depending on the orientation. Because he wanted a Christmas themed texture/image?

Man your accent seems really hard to understand for non french people, you need a bit of training to pronounce the R's correctly 👍
