Man, what a trip it is to watch this back now after the first Grasso fight. Seeing Shevchenko pulling rank on Blanchfield over wrestling only to wrestle her way straight into a submission loss from a boxer who was a 35-1 underdog is wild.

@@josegarza7719 Amanda has an excuse whenever she gets beat or has a subpar performance. If she was so sick then she would've gotten beat immediately instead of almost finishing Pena the first fight. She was winning until she gassed out and gave up. She dominated the 2nd fight because she paced herself and didn't throw her punches with reckless abandon. Hopefully Valentina will have prepared better in the rematch with Grasso because it looked like she wasn't ready for her southpaw striking nor the way she managed to defend against her on the ground.

@@pastraxxxno she didn't but her grappeling is basic. If grasso did that to her??? Then erin will finish valentina via sub or ground and pound in 2 rounds. Erin's grappeling is ELITE. Been submitting boys/men when she was 16 yrs old in competition. Normally i never put in that much stock in fighters with 5 fights and even having les then 15 mma fights BUT erin has litterlay credentials of a great great no gi grappler. Predicted that she would finish molly and andrade. But i never thought it would be that quick with andrade. Valentina being heavy om her striker abbilities will lose. 100%.

It's tough to get aged out of any career. Valentine was the best martial artist of her time in the UFC, male or female, arguably and it would be a very strong argument. Young guns up and coming rarely await their turn at the table as their hungry, and with social media becoming a necessary component to your worth, everyone's talking shit in public; it's a rotten necessity. Erin for exposed as needing lots of work before it's her turn, unless she's gets in a lucky shot on someone, but Valentina's just a step or at least a half, and I'm that game it's all it takes. Alexa needs to tighten up some, as well, but presently seems to be the person to beat at that weight. Don't count Valentina out though; she's still very dangerous to anyone looking for a fight.

Valentina is right about experience. HOWEVER Blanchfield has already fought some top contenders including Santos, who fought a very close fight to Valentina. So generally speaking Valentina's advise would apply to other coming up young fighters, but Blanchfield is an exception cause she's already at the top.

before the grasso fight i didnt like erins chances, after it though. I think she coule give valentina a headache in the cage. But we have to remember, val has beaten thr best of the best and shown her abilitys, erin is just starting to show how she handles the elite girls. So its hard to gauge just how good she is yet. i think the taila santos fight will answer that question though. But it doesnt take a fool to see that erin has amazing ground skills, it just depends how she can implement that against the top women we just dont know yet. Im looking forward to the next few months with the 125 division theres some fire fights coming up

Erin vs Valentina is a real fight! Erin pretty much ran through Andrade who has shown to be far superior to Valentina’s other challengers. Erin has the best takedowns in the division, assuming Tatiana moves back down like she said she will.

@@omarihoward8168Exactly. Unfortunately it took Nina the 3rd round to show how Suarez is beatable. If u have good striking and takedown defense. You can beat Suarez. That's why I think Zang is a bad matchup for Tatiana. Zang possesses both those attributes and she is really strong and fast. Plus working with Cejudo helped her wrestling.
