Luv is considered positive, but lust is considered a negative word in English. In Pakistan, now people are more towards lust unfortunately. On valentines day , one can give cards to their wives or significant other, or the children to their grandmothers ,mothers, sisters , fathers because any relationship where there is respect there is special kind of love. Lust is one of the seven sins. Where as love has true sincerity . One’s love first towards Allah. If one is not sincere to Allah, then that person is not going to be faithful to any relationship. Conversation is going to different path . Hindustani luv concept is different, but Islam concept of love is like Prophet Muhammad pbuh loved khadija. And Ayesha. In pakistan love like any other subject is very gender biased.
