A beautiful, beautiful day. of course at the Misano Circuit, a home race but also something to note - the circuit is also named: Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. Simoncelli of course was a young Italian rider in MotoGP who Rossi himself mentored for multiple years before his death in 2011. What a race, WHAT A WIN!!!

Valentino was the one hit simoncelli that day , straight on his neck with the front wheel in Malesia … I was watching it , I remember everyone speechless… they were even good friends

Yes, that was funny. Vale was eager to pop the bubbly, but bottle was also very eager and excited for Vale, and said "it's time to parrrrty! - Oh, - sorry, Vale. Did I get you?" I don't know. Did it actually hit him, or just miss? Could've been really bad, if not wearing glasses could injury eye. Can you imagine, having to retire due to celebratory bubbly injury, oof. So, happy for Vale, I have watched EVERY single race of his since 125cc. To see him find success on 4 wheels, at Misano no less, it's beautiful, really hope to see this continue well into his 50s.
