I think it sounds solid, exept for the high gain stuff which was too bright and too gainy for my taste. But i had the same problem with the GP-100. To help it, i cut back presence and treble quite a bit and used more low-mid-focused custom IRs. Works for me. Thx for the demo!

Maybe you are right. But i'm showing Presets right Out Of The Box so you can hear how it sounds like untweaked and unprocessed (no Pre-/Postprocessing). Thanks for your Comment!😎

Valeton is a subsidiary of Hotone. I have a Hotone Ampero and the Valetone sounds very similar if not the same. The Valetone is a larger pedal for live-use. and has a few more features The Hotone is a cute little thing for studio and limited live use. Considering the low price of the Valetone, I'd definitely buy it if I didn't have the Hotone Ampero.

Which multi effects pedal board had the best looper capability out of the ones your tried? Looking for one with a long loop time and ability to save and download your loops.

out of the box today... sounds very good raw and software is intuitive/user friendly. I have no doubt that a ***lot*** of tweaking to get good tones will be required so a quick comparison to my Boss GT3 is on the cards :)

The GT 3 is how old? 25+ Years? Had it myself back then. I bet the GP-200 is better in any way!

Thanks for your kind comment! But sorry, this Patch was made by myself but because i don't own that Unit anymore i can't help you out. But what i remember it was the 5150 Model with the 5150 Cabinet, some Room Reverb and for sure lots of Delay (Ping-Pong, i use 495ms for all my Delays).

Do the Nux have polyphonic effect like the overtone in boss? Or ambient shimmer like delays and reverbs like that of the zoom? Sorry for asking many questions!!🙏🙏

@@guitardipu It has Pitchshifter if i remember correctly, and some nice Reverbs, not interested into Shimmer, so i don't remember. But you can look up the Specs on the NUX Website. Cheers!

@@Worlds_Worst_Guitarist Hi..thanks!!the Nux website has not updated their effect list and the manual does not mention all the effects and amps. I was considering the valeton gp 200 because of its medium footprint and stage ready ness. Also in my place the GP 200 is cheaper by 60USD compared to the hotone ampero.

Hi, i liked both the MG30 and the Mooer GE300 (200 should be similiar, and soundwise the same) better than the GP-200, although it Pedalboard Layout seemed to be the best for me (not so the sounds).

Owning the Gigboard myself (the bigger "Brother" of the MX5) and at least tested the "normal" Ampero (Video here on YT) i would suggest you to go with the MX5 🤔

Thanks for your comment! It sounds different for sure. I would say more modern and in that sense better than the ME80 which is clearly outdated. The 90 i don't know.

Oh, come on who used factory presets? I never use factory presets in any of the multi-effects that I bought including the Helix or Line6 lineup. I do my own presets and my own sound to get the best effects and sound. GP200 is great in my opinion especially if you upload your own IRs.

Thanks for your comment! I am one of the many that don't want to waste their time by endless tweaking. And there are Modellers and Plugins existent that do at least quiet a good Job on Factory Presets that can be used without or without much modification. But that is, why i never do any conclusion in my Videos but leave it up to you to decide wether the Unit could be something for you or not. Obviously you are happy with your GP200, and that is totally fine! BTW i do my own Presets too, you can find many Videos of me here on YT where i am using my own Presets 🙂

Seems to me I have no choice but to get the MG30 Since it's the only device that records over usb at 48khz sample rate And most my projects are at that rate And Cubase doesn't let u change them without messing all ur audio samples up! Why don't any of them have a decent sound card inside them? Beyond me Even the higher priced ones The ampero is no different, 44.1 Very annoying But I guess it makes my choice easier Can't even base it on sound quality or anything then

I have an MG30, and I feel like that sounds way better. Most of the stuff on my channel, if not all are done on the NUX products. I definitely feel that the MG30 sounds much better. However the GP-200 has more footswitches which might make it better for live use. Let mw know your thoughts?

@@SheahanDevadosswell, the nux mg-30 includes the nmp-2 external footswitch, with allows you to expand its buttons from 3 to 5. Still not 8 like the Valeton but a good number for live usage yet!

All these pedals sound alike because they share the same because the insides are the same. Basically these things are computers so if they have the same algorithms they will make the same noise. What makes all of these toys is the inability to edit the factory presets. Yes I know you can copy them over to the user side but that is waste of half the available memory. Imagine buying a TV and the presets for the screen tone is locked and you cannot store any changes. Every time you want to lower the brightness it will not remember your changes. A sane person would call madness and would call the set faulty. But somehow in the guitar world, locked presets on these toys are accepted. I'll save up and buy a real unit like a Helix or Axe FX. Lots of upgrades and YOU get to edit presets to your taste. Expect a new model every few years because they don't want to make something useful. Just a shinny 'new' toy which the masses will fawn over. PS the original Zoom G5 allowed you to overwrite presets and place any effect anywhere you liked if the CPU limit was not breached. These TOYS are a step backwards.

Hi, I have a few questions about the looper in Valeton. Does it have all the same possibilities as the Zoom G5? Currently I have Zoom g5 and I'm thinking about upgrading it. From the features it has a pretty advanced looper, but it's not in sync, you have to match the start point with the drums. This is unacceptable on stage. Also, the drum loops are simple and there are only 40 of them.

The most non-sensical comment I read. Both the Nux and the Valeton allow you to modify factory presets. A toy would be the Zoom G1Xon, that thing doesn't even have master tone
