there is a really good mod called "Plant everything" on Nexus Mods that will let you do just that .. berry bushes, shrubs, all trees (including the little half beech that we all chop down when we need just that little extra wood for a bench) mushrooms and Thistles .. i like it a lot

yeah..... a lot... this was the first time I went experimenting with spawning in stuff because I got curious what would be able with it. After 600 hours in the game it was time to try something new :D

You can already spawn in the bushes and the cloudberry bushes if you are playing on private server and don't mind using devcommands.

@@xxinda Unfortunatly I play on a dedicated server where that isnt possible :/

@@SidMajors ah yeah. It's really a pitty you need mods to get access to devcommands on a dedicated server while it's in game stuff you know. I really hope they will just give us the ability to be able to plant everything with the cultivator. Would be so awsome.

Yes I totaly agree with you. I personaly don't mind using the devcommands, I mean.... If I can chose between taking my car or my bike to travel 100 km I'm not going on my bike :P and in the end it is the same destination.

No sadly you cannot without a mod. I have spawned them in using devcommand in the F5 menu (command is : spawn RaspberryBush) They will spawn around 2m int front of you and hover in the air for a while before they drop to the gound.

How was this done? Food only sizzles while it cooks but quickly burns? Fire too close to something above it puts itself out? How is smoke then coming up from under the soup and oven elements/burners?

@@ridiculouslycoolguy I had seen this in a video and I was the same like you... like.. how the heck did he do that. And I just went figuring out how. You put the foodstand down, then u put a fire beneath it, the meat goes on the foodstand and then you simply destroy the fire and the animation stays. You can do this while it's raw meat or wait till it's cooked and then remove the fire. Really cool. The smoke you see are hidden item stands with Surtling Trophies on them ;)

The grill are signs placed spaced out with horizontal item stands hidden between where Surtling trophy's are on them, that's the smoke that you see. I did built campfires to create the smoking animation on the meat hanging on the foodrack ; you place the foodthing, place the fire, place the meat, destroy the fire, animation stays. Gotto love this game. I used bronze bucklers for the stove with again item stands below it with surtling trophy's. Hope that makes sense :D go try it out, it's awsome fun what you can create with it.

Hi, I'm the one who build this. I used devcommands to spawn in all the flowers and bushes since we don't have that ability with the cultivator sadly. I wish. But for now I'm ok using the devcommands. I did use a mod (SK Toolbox) to flatten out the terrain because using that one reduces the amount of instances by a ton, but it's just flattening the ground. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask.

I spawned them in in debugmode. There are full lists of item spawn codes on the internet. When you spawn them in, they hover above the gorund first before they drop and they spawn around 2m in front of you. So I used 2m beams to create a pattern first, then spawn everything and remove the beams. BUT.... I discovered 2 days ago that there's a mod called Planteverything that lets you plant it on the spot where you like it. MUCH faster.

Come join the Vetlive discord community. There you can download the worlds of almost all the builds Vetlive has made, when they share, they share everything :D You can then create your own vbuild file if you would want to copy it on your own world. Hope this helped.

You can't atm sadly. I used spawn commands to make them spawn where I wanted them. I really hope they will add this to the game with Hearth&Home.

With devcommands you can spawn everything there is in game in front of you. I wish they would add that stuff to the cultivator, or some other tool in future updates. That would be so much more fun than typing in a command for every single bush-flower you see here.

@@joelkatzler7908 Yeah indeed. Here's hoping they add all that to the cultivator one day. I didn't know much about the dev commands either untill I was done with the survival game and wanted to delve into this building stuff that looked so awsome. And it became a whole new game.

Ken ze al jaren uit andere survival games. Dus gauw overstappen zal ik niet doen. De enige echte serieuze bouwer ben ik wel. Ik mis het soms wel om meer bouwers om mij heen te hebben. Dus wie weet kom ik eens spieken :) sws grote fan van vetlive z'n uploads!

@@SidMajors aah nee, niet op die manier. Ik heb dit alleen gebouwd. Vetlive zijn gewoon 2 creatieve mannen die een super formula hebben samen. En ze zijn begonnen met het showen van wat hun community allemaal deelt in hun discord. Wel tof dat je met anderen speelt. Ik ben nu wel veel samen met iemand die ik heb leren kennen in de discord, is veel leuker samen.

I didn't make those, I asked a very dear friend of mine to build something awsome in my garden because I wanted memories in there. Do you mean the square with all the blue thistles in it?

You mean a file share of the world it's build in? or Vbuild?

If you're on a private server then you can use F5 to toggle the commands menu in game. If you want to use devcommands you will need to add -console in your steam app (Google this if you are not familiar with that.) @@xxinda oo and is there any way to rotate spawnable entities? Like suppose I spawn a RockFinger and I want it to face another direction. All the spawned entities seem to spawn facing the same direction.

@@polymophous1704 Sadly there is not. With Plant Everything mod you can atleast rotate plants and trees. But the all the other stuff like rocks and Pickable flint and stone are all facing the same way yeah. I hope we will be able to rotate and plant everything that's in the spawn commands. Together with creating NPC's, add quests... Gosh i would really love that.

No one said I didn't use devcommands. I used the F5 menu to spawn in all the flowers and bushes (all one by one). It's kinda the same as you chosing to go with a bike to travel and I rather go with my car. Both will get you there. And I used a mod for flattening for the main reason that it reduces instances by a ton. Further than that, everything i did here, you can do without any mod on a private server with spawn commands.

@@xxinda Yeah, it's like we're playing 2 different games when I think about it. I'm going out to get some rocks and explore, improving the houses/bases I use to improve my quality of life. And you guys are making some art projects without the limitations of having to play the game. If they could add a genuine creative mode to distinguish the 2, that would be nice.

@@kirara159 I did that for the first 300 hours. I am 700 hours in atm though. I agree it has nothing to do with survival anymore no. I get it that some people feel the need to distinguish themselves like yourselves. But it's like distinguishing a man who went on a bike working for it with compared to a man who went with his car. It both gets you where you want to go on the same road. To me it doesn't really matter how you got there as long as you have fun. And you find it hard to feel apprecation when it's not done the same way as you are playing the game. I do have appreciation for people who play like you do and create with limitations. That's the difference.

@@xxinda Hey I agree with you, Is not like I don't think these house builds aren't pretty. And there really isn't a point in distinguishing, Is not like I'm any better for choosing to farm my own things. But I do farm them, so I can grasp the amount of dedication and effort a vanilla player puts into their builds, and how viable they are to actually live in. The docks their boats unload their metals , the roads they paved and carry carts through, the storage space they keep their things, The gardens they grow their vegetables. I can understand and appreciate those. I just don't have that common ground to appreciate creative mode builds. It's apples to oranges ya know.

@@kirara159 hmm yes ok I understand where you're coming from. And you are absolutely right. Because the base I have build farming my ass off still means the most to me because it took hours and hours of farming and dedication, buiding roads to do the farming, progressing to unlock stuff. It's a different level of accomplishment. The mansion I have built is a different kind of dedication. This piece took me around 80 hours to build and it tells my story, my emotions that i was dealing with at the time. To everyone else it's just a build in devcommands. To me it's showing who I am. And it's quite intimidating to see it on the web for everyone to get a piece of me to be honost.
