So many of the builds I've seen on youtube have been made with the 'size is better than detail mindset.' I'm so happy to see a builder who really appreciates that it's all the fine detail work that makes or breaks a build, rather than scale. The way you detail around everything, and the way you add a 3d pop to every wall and beam would honestly make this one of the most impressive builds I've seen, even if it was a 6x6.

Been playing Valheim for about a year, and you are EASILY the best builder I've ever seen. I'm amazed by this build and your detailing. Really adds to Valheim's atmosphere. Then on top of that the video quality is excellent too! Well well done my man. 🤙

How does your time playing Valheim have anything to do with his building ability? It'd be more appropriate to compare his building to other Valheim Builders out there.
@VariantCinema
@VariantCinema Жыл бұрын
@@Dyanosis Mate, you read one part of my comment and ignored the rest. "EASILY the best builder if ever seen" that "seen" part implies that I'm talking about compared to other builders. The relevance of how long I've played is just adding to the compliment that he's the best builder I've seen in the span of an entire year. I understand you may have misunderstood what I meant, but that's a pretty intense misread.

Lovely build. I always liked more of those smaller castles, towerhouses and fortified manors rather than giant castles. Recently experimating myself with that, already recreated Portencross castle, altough with mods, but i'm amazed i actually done that ^^

I bought Valheim during the last days of the Steam sale when I saw someone play it. It seemed fun. I do not like prospecting for copper and stone... it is one of the most annoying things to do. But, I like building. And this one is something I might try to replicate in my own playthrough. Very very cool.

Inspiring and amazing job decorating!!! I love the layering inside as well as outside. And for how many people could be in and out at one time, that kitchen is perfect! I've toured multiple castles and historical estates and they always have either one massive kitchen or usually 2 kitchens with one big one and one smaller one. But they are big. Think about killing and having to cut up and cook a Lox or a serpent or something or even multiple deer. You're going to need space for that! Amazing job❤

Im not sure if you could answer this but how much can you deform the terrain, and build before you start seeing dramatic changes in performance. I got an idea for a Complete Castle, What I mean by complete Huge flat land to begin but not necessary. Layers, above, at ground and below ground, water level. At water level, building a waterway under my primary construction, the dock being not directly under the keep, but offset, with pathways up. Below ground, before water layer, a walkable tight squeeze Ratway, thief and cut purse, pathways to most towers, keep, underground dock, normal trade dock , battacks, range, and chapel. The whole purpose of the system is unnoticed walking paths, hidden alcoves for workbenches to keep them out of sight, and foundations for the walls, towers, keep, and other buildings. At ground, stone paths between buildings, hidden entrances to lower layers, beginnings of the walls, with paths between them, two soldiers wide, thick walls, and if needed decoy structures for workbenches to make building easier and doing repairs faster... Above ground would be the completion of the towers, locations of ballistas, completion of buildings

i'm trying to recreate this build with a friend (only we're using black marble and some other mistlands stuff) and i'm crying and ragequitting over the stairs in the tower. how on earth did you made them work, i think i demolished and rebuild them 7 times already. if the stairs start on the most left side of the tower (looking from the entrance) and you're using the floor tiles, then the lowest entrance is this claustrophobic 2m high nook, with a stone flooring hanging directly above your head when entering, is that how it supposed to go? it has to, or the 3rd floor landing won't align. or did you lower the ground by the tower entrance? i can't tell on the video. pls help, i spent hours today trying to figure it out also yes, i absolutely love the build and the details i most likely won't be able to recreate myself, but i just lost years of my life fighting with this tower XD
