Love your builds! Always so homey and comfortable and peaceful. Unfortunately, in game we have mobs and trolls that come along and hit your place with a tree or other damaging items... can you figure out either protective walls or ditches to protect the place that don't look like an eyesore? Playing without some sort of protection is like playing on a pvp server... you get wiped often or at least severely damaged to where you are always rebuilding. I always look forward to your videos... please keep them coming.

How did you get the roof on the upper part to stabilize? I followed your video exactly as you did it and when I got to the peak of the roof it fell no matter what I did to try to make it stay

I use GeForce Now and couldn’t be happier with the performance. My PC is at least 6 years old and I can play with medium/high settings with RTX making it feel like it’s the highest setting possible. Can’t go wrong, especially if you’re like me and have a dino-puter.

I love the building in this game. It's almost as if the game is designed so that you must beat bosses so that you can build even greater settlements and get closer and closer to self-sufficiency :D Wouldn't it be cool if the game required you to build scaffolding or use ladders and ropes to build larger structures?

How did you shrink the tanning rack?

I have no clue how the statics in this one works but the roof didn't work for me. Broke down on multiple spots. Couldn't even finish the frame.

Trying this on 2/18/22 and most of the roofing frames fall apart before they can connect. On some instances I can add more frames to the ground to get it to connect but it isnt going well over all.

did physics change in this game? what mods did you use to get those rafters to stay and not disintegrate immediately?!

I’m building this house in multiplayer on my rented server now. Only complaint I’ve found is the hearth is too far from the bed. So requires a campfire on the outside by the front door area. And I don’t want to do a dinky campfire In the upstairs room.

so when I tried building the taller roof, the side closer to the lower roof keeps on breaking and I don't understand why. I've copied everything that you did in this video and still breaks. anyone know why this could happen?

Idk if the mechanics has changed, but i have build it the same way and the higher roof always crash bruh

The roof in the lower section just falls apart when I attempt to copy this layout. Was there a change made in the game since this video that would cause this? I've watched multiple times and I'm not missing a beam or support anywhere, but the center keeps breaking.

No matter how many times I watch these tutorials I end up getting on the game and creating a box with a roof. My bases basically look like the empty 24 packs of Pepsi boxes that are left after I waste time trying to build these.

I use GeForce Now with Valheim, it’s awesome! I usually play with 5-10 fps with low graphics, bad computer. Now i can play with high graphics and 50-60 fps in the same computer. I realized that after 200 hours of Valheim. It’s like a new game 😃

Is it just me or is the tanning rack and hearth alot smaller than normal?

What are those tall pillars that you use? I don't see that in my build list. That's probably why all my bases look like SHIT when I get on the game and try to follow these tutorials from memory. All I seem to have are the 1 meter and 2 meter beams but I don't have any long posts like he uses for all his walls? I'm confused.

Hey Vetlive, just built your house on my world and I have one complaint about your house that I'm having trouble fixing myself. Did you ever figure out how to sleep in the bed you made on the top floor? Cause apparently the Hearthfire is too far away and I put a campfire underneath the stairs which is right under the bed but that was also too far away.

Just an PSA, this house is great in the beginning, but when you kill the elder and start working towards your 3rd boss/going to swamps its going to be way too small for everything you'll need inside. Despite that, this is an amazing design!

How do you guys build such gorgeous houses/bases with no perimeter defense and not loose sleep about 'the ground is shaking' event? lol lost so much to this in the past. Currently it's been a ridiculous amount for me, every 3-5 in game days. The worst is dealing with one troll while the other is destroying everything

I have tried to build this in my current Mistlands world, however something seems to be wrong in the sense that the roof _never_ gets enough support and keeps falling in itself. I have tried every possible thing and it still doesn't work. Just a warning.

The house looks really nice and that matters... But there are two things i would like to know. The 1st one is: What do you need personal chests for if ur it's a solo house, which means it's meant to be used by 1 person as well as the whole world. Is it just for decoration purposes? Cuz these chests aren't good for storage purposes, are expensive and have just 6 slots if i remember correctly. The 2nd thing is: Why is this house perfect for solo play? It looks really nice and it would be my main house if i built it, but if it comes to defense, the house doesn't look like something that will survive a bigger ride, especially in solo play, unless we will dig a long, deep moat or build a long, high wall around it. So, what makes this house perfect?
