The same thing happens to me. I used to take a 10mg gummy and bite it in half to sleep until about a month and a half ago. I used to go to the shop a lot and they let you pick out your gummies for a custom pack and even add in sour hard candy or mints if you want, they knew me really well. I don't know if they thought they were doing me a favor or if someone played a joke on them, no idea, but the last time I went I was just getting sour strawberry 10mg gummy bears. I got home and I noticed one was a little darker red but it looked like the cherry ones right next to the strawberry. I figured I might as well just eat half of that one. I fell asleep at like 1am, woke up at 2am breathing really hard and thought I was having a panic attack. Then I got really concerned that my drop down menu wasn't popping out IN MY BRAIN and letting me check settings and vitals or look through my files IN MY BRAIN. Then everything went completely white and Arthur Patrelli from the show Heros appeared in the white and told me he had trapped me in a time before space and time and he'd taken all my powers. I fell to the floor and tried crawling to my couch which was about 20ft away. I guess that took like an hour because there was no up or down, forward or back, side to side. Once I got to my couch I was able to call my sister to have her come over. I asked her to hit me because it was the only thing that "felt right". She went "yup" and smacked the ever loving shit out of me a bunch of times, no idea how many, could barely feel it. It was like when you've had novacaine and someone touches your face, you know they've touched you but that's it. But I'd calmed down a bit by about 4:30 so she left. When I became fully aware again I was sitting on my couch with Nick Jr or whatever on, in my boxers, holding a 50lbs bag of dog food on my lap. Apparently I asked for it before she left because I wanted to hug something but not her. When I took the other half in we compared it to cherry, it wasn't cherry, it was a 300mg thing I don't even remember the name of, something like 'demon bear' or 'devil bear', along those lines. Haven't touched edibles since. I totally disassociated for a while and that scared the hell outta me. Not to mention the imagined torture and time prison. Oh, I also puked on one of my carpets at some point and thought the best way to clean up like a square yard of puke was my vacuum, so I have a new vacuum and a new carpet.

yea, I cant have any weed anymore either. It just spirals into anxiety for me now. 1mg KIDS melatonin gummies are what I use to fall asleep now. I thought, NOT ENOUGH melatonin but it works.

It's their fear that makes them quit. Alcohol is ubiquitous and even though it's more harmful than THC, everyone consumes it. Ironically, the fear is also what causes the bad trip. Best advice is to get it from a trusted source and do it in a comfortable environment.

there’s medicated marijuana. for instance as someone w insomnia, a little bit helps me sleep but i wouldn’t say im addicted. and if i smoke (sativa) recreationally it helps me creatively.
