I worked as a design engineer on the Valkyrie and the guys from Red Bull were seriously determined to shed 2 grams off of the 7 grams part.. This car means business, believe me!

Finally a car designed for us who play football on the streets.

The aero on that makes the Senna look bland. The 6.5 V12 is a kick in the nuts of engine size reduction. The sound is like a FXXK, but more orchestra-like. The specs. The details. Everything. Aston Martin drops the mic.

For as long as I can remember I've had a 'top 3 cars' that have remained in that list no matter what the current offering had challenged with. The MacF1, Zonda and CGT. However this is the first time in 15years where this podium is being seriously challenged. This Valkyrie really is a very special car indeed, and who would have thought AM would be the manufacturer to bring such a special piece of engineering to the world. Thanks to all concerned with this project.

I can give you guys an insight of the company that made the heat coating on the top section of the exhaust the actual heat that car generates is about 1000 celcius degrees on the top of the exhaust system which is nearby the wing so it has to be protected too.The actual material they use is a combination of zirconiuem and non metal materials which is basically a ceramic that has a great heat resistence and the company that makes this ceramic is Zircotech which james avoided to mention in 3:12

It made me ponder that both car (if Valkyrie can be so humbly referred to in such a manner!) and man NEED each other. The former remains still n' static without a driver; the later, can only walk along uncarried, untransported & feel unmoved without the vehicle's force, power & emotion that the designer/builder wills into existence!
