Ken Schramm of Shramm's Meads gives us a tour of the production facility, and he provides a guided tasting of "The Statement" a Lutowka cherry mead. Additionally, Ken answers questions submitted by entrants and volunteers, and then we close with Ken's commmentary on the Best Of Show meads.
Results summary and scoresheets are available on the competition website at 8pm on Saturday, September 19th, 2020.

Anyone else floored when he showed his pilot/small batch area? Just dozens and dozens of carboys. It makes perfect sense. Just so cool to see all together. Puts my maybe 10 carboys to shame haha

I'm kind of amazed that he actually USES glass carboys in a commercial setting!

Of course, congratulations to all of the winners and comp coordinators. It was a fun, if not a bit surreal, judging to be part of. I'd also like to throw out three cheers to you, Kevin, for compiling all of this and presenting it to the people. I know the work that it takes to produce something like this. Mead up, my man!
