This time my adventure takes me to Rinella Bay in Kalkara. Will launch my kayak from here and follow the shoreline to Kalkara, enjoying the Kalkara thermal baths, Esplora Interactive Science centre. Then we explore Kalkara and Vittoriosa promenade until I reach a beautiful sea cave with a beach inside. Then I head over to Valletta where I explore an other beautiful sea cave.
Hope you enjoy

@@PierreFarrugia during the war they lived in Paula, then they moved to Valletta where I was born. They actually were pretty poor and lived in straight street. There was a book of the street, most of the family make an appearance in that book, including my Father who was known as Chico (in English). My mother had two brothers that left for Australia, and three sisters, only one stayed behind in Malta with their Mother Maria, who's husband, Tony died just before the end of the war. My grandmother used to take me down in the lift, which I hated and across the bay on a small boat. She visited a church there where she had made a vow. It may have been Kalkara. The vow was to walk the church on her knees if I could be cured of my cleft palate. She would stand in front of a statue of Jesus where he fell, I was only four, so it's hard to remember. God Bless.

@@PierreFarrugia I think to a great degree many Maltese are related as it is such a small island. My Grandfather was Tony / Anthony, I'm named after him, but never met him.

Well ok Pierre, this is really a cool one. Love your kayak adventure vlogs as much as the many other trekking videos all around our islands. Thanks for some good information concerning various structures along the Kalkara area and other locations too. At times it was a little catchy going through those boats mooring ropes, but well done you managed to overcome with experience. Thanks again and for sharing too.👍👍
