Hi, My beautiful friends! Valley of Flowers trek starts from village Pulna. This is a 14 Kms trek. We reached Ghanghria after trekking 10 Km from Pulna. From Ghanghria, the valley of flowers is at a 4 Km distance. This is a beautiful trek. This trek opens up in the monsoon season. Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian national park established in 1982. It is located in Chamoli in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animals, including the Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, musk deer, brown bear, red fox and blue sheep. Birds found in the park include Himalayan monal pheasant and other high-altitude birds.

After reaching Govindghat, we stayed in a Narayan Guest House-contact details- 094103 56394.
We got one room for Rs.1200 for four people. You can stay in Gurudwara Sahib at 1100 Rs rate too. After reaching Ghanghria, we stayed in Hotel Krishna Palace opposite the office of the forest department. We got one room for Rs. 2000 for four people.

The trek to the Valley of flowers is indeed beautiful with some breathtaking views, thanks for showing the actual trek. At the end of the trek, however, there was not much variety of flowers seen. As someone has already commented that when he did this trek way back in the 70's there were lots of variety of flowers. I remember, as a child in the 70's, seeing pictures from the Valley of flowers in the magazines, leaving me awestruck! Global warming and climate change has taken a toll. Thanks again

Road very fine,scanty flowers.went1973 August,saw thousands of flowers of different types,saw also a glacier and few brambhakamal.saw thousands of brambhakamal on the way of hemkund.at that time journey was not so easy.thanks for uploading this video

joshimath se pulna kitna charge lete hai sir ? aur ticket hemkund sahib and valley of flowers ke lia kaha se karni hai offline or online , also permit chaiye hoga kya dono ke lia , or if we cover badrinath also;

Hello Aryaman Gangele, Joshimath se pehle aap Govindghat jaoge then wha rukne ka bhi hai agar aap rukna chaho to then usse aage Govindghat to Pulna (50 Rs. Per person public taxi ) Hemkund Sahib ke liye and Char Dham Yatra including Badrinath ka registration online ho jata hai . Mai link daal deta hu - registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in/signin.php Valley of flowers ka registration offline whin counter pe hoga uske liye pehle aapko Pulna se Ghanghria tak 10 Km trek karke jana hoga. Hi Rajiv Sen Ji, Thanks for the comment. There are many hotels in Ghanghria. But I stayed in the Krishna Hotel opposite the office of the forest department. We got a room for Rs 2000 for 4 people. you can get rooms at a cheaper rate too depending on the quality. The other option is Gurudwara Sahib Ji in Ghanghria (which is some steps ahead of the Krishna Hotel) where you can get rooms too. Please like, share the video and subscribe to my channel. Hi Mambo Mohanty, It is possible to visit the Valley of Flowers in the mid-week of August. However, it is a bit risky due to weather conditions. But this trek is a monsoon trek and the flowers of the valley bloom in this season only. This risk is worth taking. You will see the beauty of nature. If there is any kind of landslide, the staff will close the valley for visitors for a few days. One more thing, if any person gets stuck somewhere in the valley, the staff of the valley of flowers will help you to reach the base. The mountains and floras look different and mesmerising in this season. The best time to visit the Valley of Flowers is between July and mid-August when it is in full bloom. Thanx for the comment. Hi Sunita Ajani, I went there on July 11, 2022. It was reopened on that day. And the trail, where the landslides occurred, got repaired by the forest department on July 11, 2022 morning. It entirely depends on rain and landslides. This time landslides are occurring at a rapid rate. When I visited there, the valley was reopened on that day. But after incessant rain, it was again closed by the authorities due to landslides. So, I don't know the current situation. But one thing I want to tell you is that the forest department repairs the trail when the rain stops. So, if you are lucky, it may be open on that day. I visited on July 11, 2022. It was closed on July 10, 2022, due to a landslide in the valley. Fortunately, it opened on July 11. It all depends on the rain.🙂🙂
