I'm going to keep a log of my progress here in case anyone else wants to have an idea of what it will feel like DAy1-3:My aim is still dodo so i don't know what to say. Hard to get used to slowing down the game for headshots Day 4:Seeing significant amount of bottom fragging from trying to get headshots and when i do get it a kill, its not a headshot ;-; Day 10:I have been getting better aim in my training routine but i haven't seen much results ingame. No idea what day im on now but i am getting bored of doing it and it has become a chore more than entertaining. Day 14(8-15-20): i missed a day but I am getting more headshots with the vandal, getting my first 30 bomb with jett. Day 19(8-20-20):I am now silver 1 but i missed another day of the routine. Day:24(8-25-20) I am now silver 3 but I've been working on my game sense more than aiming at this point. Day:28(8-29-20) I got gold yesterday and getting a lot more headshots but stopped doing the aiming routine cause of my hands. >End:Its been over a month now but I want y'all to understand last act I was bronze 3 and this act I started on iron 3. Of course I didn't reach immortal level but I have not played an fps in YEARS or even on a pc. So i came in with, no pc experience, no fps experience, and Arthritis. Do ur best and we'll see each other in immortal one day. LITTLE UPDATE I am currently gold 2! I hope I don't lose it but hey its rank. Just trying to hit plat by the end of the act but if not Gold 2 is perfectly fine. 🤔Thank you for taking ur time scrolling through the comments and reading my message😊🥵 Edit:04-14-24 hello everyone i am back here to update. In my time of absence i coached(with some success) the game for a bit and stopped playing around after breeze dropped. Since then I played Apex to masters(pred was too much work) and now back into Val I play EU with 135 ping and have a high mmr of diamond as a gold 3 rank. Since these comments I've talked to many aim trainers and valorant players and will let y'all know if this truly is the strategy to good aim. >I did not watch the full video just the little summary at the start and I agree with most of it. When aim training it's really important with how you approach it >> score. For example if you flick a lot and have to micro adjust then that's bad but you still hit the target so who cares right? Wrong your first flick and stopping power should be directly on the target so play slow until you're consistent with stopping on the dot then slowly ramp up the speed until it's too much. I would highly recommend not just playing aim scenarios without any guide or instruction as learning on your own is too stressful, try Voltaic or any other similar group that's designed specifically for aim training to help.

Well, admittedly, I especially agree with the view "The importance thing is your accuracy, slow it down if you have to, maintain it". People have seen alot of flick, fast aim from pro. Trying to mimic this is such a daunting task for not only newbies but also experienced players, regardless of their ranks. It occurs to me, a god flick is the result of the process he recommends above, not a method for achieve itself.

@@whorod8895 headshot, crosshair placement. That is much more important than just hitting them. In high Elo if you don't have those, you'll find yourself getting one tapped constantly. Always aim for their head, if you lose game, whatever, you build up habits so that you're more likely to hit their head the next game and the next and the next.

Also just a tip for everyone here to keep in mind, training ones aim exclusively will not replace the experience and game sense you get from just playing. Most of my games, before I watched this, was so lame and so noobie-looking. Reaching only less than or equal 10 kills each game (I tried my best at least). And I know to myself when will the enemy would be located, but still my aim sucks. But yo I'm proud of myself being top player in a game after I watched this. The head-level aiming, crosshair hovering when enemy would pop-up and warming-up, it's truly helpful. Really. It's gamechanging. Thanks for this, GJ! You deserve a sub.

Great video. To echo his advice, remember, you want to improve your *aim*, as in your accuracy. It's not about speed. When you're training in an aim trainer the focus should be on accuracy, not on how many targets you can hit in 30 seconds. It's about consistency and precision, not high scores. Don't be that guy who restarts a challenge after missing the first target. Always play to the end. Remember, this is training. One of the greatest esports players of all time is Daigo Umehara. He's a fighting games legend, go watch Moment 37 if you haven't. After decades of competing he wrote a book where he talks about learning that you have to learn to train to get better before you should train to win. Work on your precision, your shot consistency, then when you have faith in your base mechanics you have a foundation for everything else, including for more niche techniques like flicking. Don't practice flicks until after you're a good shot.

Great video. It’s crazy looking at someone in Immortal who is not a pro and then viewing a high level pro aim, the pros are just next level and so cerebral with it. You can tell though that this guy is not BSing he really did put in a ton of work to get his aim down

ok so im am going to start training my tracking aim. so far i have been using aimlab consistently for a few weeks now and i have noticed that my flicks have seen some improvement because i have mostly been training for flick accuracy.... hopefully adding this next type of aiming into my game will help me be a better aimer Day 1: this is probably my first time ever training my tarcking and oh boy is this tough. I will probably update this as I continue my journey with trying to improve my overall aim in valorant. hopefully i will finally get out of gold lol

yo guys! I tried this for a lil bit and it sure helped, but I didn't take it as seriously as I should've. I climbed from g3/p1 to p3. Then I started to take the warmup less seriously, which caused me to play worse in my games. I am really going to try this out everyday I play valorant from now on, for 1 month. Currently, the date is 2020-09-06. I will update u guys 2020-10-06. That's one day before my birthday. I am currently plat 2, and in 1 month I will tell u guys if I climbed and if my aim got better. @DaFlower1 this shit happens in csgo as well ... its no big deal tho. It's all about server side and client side ... server side registered the shot as it hit the phoenix ... the client side (which is tammy's game) registered it as going to the left .. sooo the client side didnt lineup with the server side + ofc the server side is the side that works so the phoenix died.. its so common
